I'm telling you, tint your car and it will look even better. Don't judge the photoshopped tint job. I'm going to purchase a 2006 C230 or C280 Sport Sedan in August and I will be getting it in Orion Blue Metallic, and applying a beautiful tint job to it. Trust me, your car will look good with tint.

From that angle, viewing in a picture or on the road, yes, it looks like a Maxima. From a 360 degree perspective, either viewing on a computer or in person, the CLS looks nothing of a Maxima. Very far from it.

that camouflage kit is cool in that with it covering the whole car, nobody would have to worry about dents and scratches. If I had that car, I would park it right next to the shopping cart area in the supermarket parking lot

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class isn't due until the spring of 2007, but as our latest spy video shows cold-weather testing is already well underway. Although the full-body camouflage hides the important details, it's easy to see that this C-Class will wear a much sleeker shape than the current model.

Most observers expect a C-Class sedan with more angular headlights and a tightly cropped rear end reminiscent of the new CLS sedan. A larger size is almost guaranteed as its arch rival, the 2006 BMW 3 Series, has recently grown to provide more room for adults in back. Interior details are still unknown, but given that the 2006 S-Class will get an iDrive-type controller it won't be too surprising to find one added to the C-Class.

A wide range of engines are on tap for Mercedes' new entry-level sedan although the current use of four-cylinder power plants is being reconsidered given their downmarket connotation in the U.S. The current 3.5-liter V6 used in the E-Class and M-Class vehicles is likely along with an even more powerful version of the current 5.5-liter V8 in the C55. An article in the German magazine AutoBild suggests that the normally aspirated V8 will have as much as 402 horsepower while a range-topping 6.3-liter V8 could offer 470 horses.

Tasty details for sure, but given that the 2008 C-Class isn't expected to go on sale until the spring of 2007, and the fact that it will be facing newer competitors like the 2005 Audi A4 and 2006 Lexus IS 350, the C-Class is going to need all the help it can get.

I thought the w204 was due as a 2007 model, this article suggests that it will be a 2008 model... what gives?

The V8 AMG is due out in 08. Take notice they don't say anything about the V6? Its what MB did back in 01. They didn't release the new AMG body version until 02 year models.

Always was to be in the 08 model year as long as I've been following it, released in "Spring" 07 (yeah, just like the V6 C230's). People, including myself, are sometimes guilty of referring to a future car by the year it is to be released...so that could be it...whatever the reason, I think it's fairly definitive now...mid '07.

Well whenever it will be released.... I don't care that artists rendition of the new c class looks is amazing. Hands down it top s the new 3 series and the current c design. Looks much bigger too and with a more powerful engine and sleeker ......ummmmmm looks like I'll be with MB for quite a while Lets just hope the new design really is close to that artist's rendition.

the w204 is not nearly done yet.. they are still in testing phase which will not be done until end of this year then go into first line of production, trust me i know as i have driven them hehehehe. The turbo diesel model is bad ***.. the FMIC looks fuggin huge :-)
