Poor fuel economy

I do not understand 30km & 45km fuel use measurement. I can better answer “what is normal” if I know what the basis of the measurement is in distance/fuel used or fuel used/distance. I am familiar with liters/100 kilometers and miles/gallon.

Any idea what can be causing the fuel to be so high , also when starting it swings swings then starts. Doesn't start on a first swing
Also wanted to find out , my W204 mileage is currently 23800KM , currently I'm using 5W 40 Fully synthetic oil. is this the correct oil for my milage and car ?
Thank you for your assistance

5W40 full synthetic oil is fine for all W204. Oil is not your problem.
Hard starting and high fuel consumption are related. You don’t mention a check engine light (CEL).
You need to get that fuel pressure sensor problem fixed first. Then if problems continue, a complete scan of your engine for trouble codes and fuel trims is needed. Leaking fuel injectors, vacuum leak, other sensor failures, or throttle body problems may be found.

238 000KM is the milage , the check engine light isn't appearing even the mechanic was quite surprised
i assume the person I bought the car from blocked the engine light or some sort .
Okay so when it comes to oil , is it okay if i use synthetic instead of fully synthetic ?
also with the mileage being 238 000KM , is 5W 40 correct ?
I took the car to the mechanic a few weeks ago and he failed to detect which fuel sensor was throwing that error

If you can find another mechanic with proper knowledge about Mercedes, test him with one of those 2 scenarios for Check Engine Light:
1 - Any technician with minimum MB experience can Actuate all Instrument Cluster lights, so you will see if the Check Engine is still alive. If become live, it means that a little coding on cluster will be needed.
2 - If after Actuation of all Cluster Lights still doesn't lit, maybe some chewing gum can be present over the LED for Check Engine symbol.
I would start from here, as it is possible that the Check Engine Light is mandatory by law, where you drive.

The scanner used needs to be Mercedes specific or have a Mercedes specific program loaded to pick up the sub codes which give more information. I also was surprised that you do not have a CEL with a bad sensor code showing.
There are at least two fuel pressure sensors, a low pressure one and one on the HPFP/fuel rail. Bad fuel pressure sensors give faulty information to the ECU which is trying to adjust the fuel mixture for performance and emissions. The result is poor fuel economy or poor performance. That is why I suggested having fuel trims checked, too.
The other things that can affect fuel consumption are a faulty thermostat and transmission issues.
If you find that the car has been coded, it may be necessary to have the ECU flashed back to factory settings then scanned for problems to address.
The difference between full synthetic and synthetic is semantics. Either is fine and 5W40 is proper for all W204 with M271 engine regardless of mileage. Mercedes has a very long list of approved oils for your car. If you are interested in using one, look on the container for the statement "Mercedes Approval 229.5."
