W205 C Class configurator and prices
Details look good so I'm really looking forward to a test drive.
One question: Does anyone know if the seats included in the "Seat comfort package" are the same as those in the Premium packages except for the memory function? The descriptions are:
Seat Comfort Package – driver and front passenger seat, Electro-pneumatic four-way lumbar support, Manual seat cushion depth adjustment (6 cm)
Memory Package included in the Premium packages: Driver’s seat, front passenger seat, steering column and exterior mirrors – electrically adjustable with memory
Elsewhere the seat comfort package seats are described as "4-way partially electric seat adjustment" so I'm wondering if to get electric fore and aft adjustment you have to have one of the Premium packages which I don't really want because they both include the panoramic roof.

Of course I suppose that's Imperial gallons. Still....

35K pounds...that's like 50 grand though....
Ha, C220 CDI - 80+ mpg freeway and still 170HP. Wow. you could go to LA and back from the bay area on less than 1 tank of gas. If it has a 15 gallon tank like the 203 you could go 1200 on a tankful. Well less, because I"m too lazy to do the Imp to US gallon conversion.
Fuel consumption
Fuel consumption urban***:
57.6 mpg
Fuel consumption extra-urban***:
80.7 mpg
Fuel consumption combined***:
68.9 mpg

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
We (in the US) normally get a discount compared to other countries. If they position the W205 diesel as they do the W212 diesel, it should be at the lower end of the price range for the line (hopefully!). Also very optimistic about the kind of EPA and real-world numbers the car will pull, given how well the E250 did in a R&T comparison....
And I agree about the colors; my God, lighten up, MB.

Of course I went straight for the blue. But honestly, not feelin' it with this model.
