Sport suspension... Is it good?
I will be getting a stock C200 AMG Line which comes with the sport suspension and I would like to get the Airmatic for a better drive but my salesman said I have to place an order, which will take 5 months to deliver compared to getting it in 3 weeks. Is it worth waiting all that time for the Airmatic or is the sport suspension good enough/provides a comfortable drive for an hour's commute twice a week?

I have a C220 with AMG pack. The sport suspension is quite nice. I travel 100 km each day to work and back and love it. We just made an 800 km round trip and no complaints at all.

Did you ever think "I wish I had a smoother suspension"?

The sport suspension has been resoundingly criticised by motoring scribes in SA.
I agree with them. The 4 Cylinder models with steel sport suspension are uncomfortable.
Airmatic is fabulous & gives you all the adjustability you need.

Isnt agility select standard? Which means that you will be able to adjust the damper firmness. So that would means that there will be some flexibility in how soft or hard your commute will be.
The softest setting wont get as soft as airmatic but if you are not willing to wait the extra time at least you know you wont be stuck with a harsh suspension if you think its too firm.

Interesting! The US articles I've read have all criticized the Airmatic as being either too firm or too wallowy. They strongly prefer the sport steel suspension. I rarely agree w/ the US media, so I'm planning to get the comfort suspension.
