bmw 3msport, 2016 c300 sport amg on order
So im going in today at 10am to pick up my car finally! (they found my same car i ordered that came in early, GREAT RIGHT?) anyways, as you can see before i have negociated a great deal already... is it possible to get these winter savings of $1500 as well for the 2016 c300? or should i not push my luck..

Ordered C450 in September here in Los Angeles, no price negotiated, did not even put down a deposit. Two days ago I went to pick her up. With the Mercedes Winter Event sale, I was offered 10% before I even say any number 
With a 5 minutes "negotiation", I got it up to 11.5%. With AICPA fleet discount applied, final price was 12.7% off MSRP. Too bad I have to choose between the Winter Event discount of $1500 or the fleet discount of $2000 since both can not be applied at the same time. Otherwise, it would have been even more. Sales guy even throw in a bottle of the fragrance for the Air Balance System (~$130) and promised me 2 keys chains. LOL. It was the most hassle free purchase ever !

Why not just try a good solid negotiation and then add the fleet discount? That's basically what I did with the United Mileage Plus discount (which is a fleet discount I believe) ending up with 12% all in.. ;-)

Can anyone compute my percentage? Here's what I got:
MSRP for my 2016 C300 Luxury w/o the COMAND is $45,870. Sales Agent made it $39,670 including the $1500 winter sales event, $500 for the SFO Auto Show test drive event. Unfortunately, our company is not included in the fleet discount. Do you think I got a good deal? She even gave me two keychains plus two more that's attached to the keys already, a wooden style mug, a steel thermos and an MB umbrella.

Q: should I cancel my dealer #1 order now or wait til the car is builded? I just worry dealer 3 decided not to give me 8000$ off and cancel my order.

i was thinking about just cancel dealer1 order and just give a BS excuse to like my current car broke down and i need another car now, i cant wait til Feb 2016 for c450 so i just bought a Toyota suv. I already ordered from dealer 3 also, i'm happy with 8000$ off msrp. Don't need dealer1 to match it, that's not very nice and very un-professional to leave dealer3 like that. If dealer1 wanted my business, they should offer me 8000$ off in the first place instead of just 3578$ off.
The saleman at dealer3 tried to intimidate me. He keeps telling me "Just sign it." on the order sheet showing MSRP only. I said "can you write down the price first?". He keeps saying "Just sign it then i write down the price".
i said "NO. put it in writing then i sign it". so he finally write "msrp $8000 off" then i signed it.

I'd never buy from dealer 3 based on your scenario but I would also never have put $1k down on a build at 2 separate dealers. But that's just me

have you asked if it is refundable or not? ALL the dealers that I went through in the bay area wanted a "deposit" to grab an allocation and order a car, but none of them were non-refundable and even when I went with one - with a credit card - they never even charged the card.

THEN... other dealers also calling me since i emailed multi-dealer to get a price quote. I told them i already ordered from a different dealer with 3578$ off msrp. This other dealer offer to give me 8000$ off msrp, so i take it.

I would be VERY surprised if the 1000$ deposit was not refundable.. it's not really a usual policy for dealerships - or mercedes customer care. It's a sign of interest and intent, not a handcuff..

since i put deposit with check instead of credit card. stupid me. if i have used credit card, i can dispute the charge.
Even if dealer1 dont give me back 1000$ deposit. I still getting 7000$ (8000-1000) off msrp on a new 2016 mercedes.
