Is there an acquisition fee (charged by MBFS for originating the loan) or a Dealer Prep fee? Any trade in? Your State sales tax rate is 9.8%?

With that cap cost reduction and those fees I get a monthly payment of $354 and due at signing of $3975.27

Not sure what "upfront taxes" are.

Here's the spreadsheet. Add in any Dealer Prep Fee (usually around $800) and Acquisition Fee (usually around $1000) if they charge those down at the bottom under Due At Signing. Those might account for the discrepancy in monthly payment. Find out what "upfront taxes" represents. Might be padding. Right now there's $925 extra being charged and unaccounted for, not including the $274 "upfront taxes" number. (See the payment discrepancy at the bottom).

Hey Mike, Acq Fee is $725, WA sales tax (where I live) is 9.8%, and no trade in

My main concerns with my lease deal is just making sure I'm getting what appears to be a good deal and the numbers for the most part add up, not sure if the discount off sales price is par with what I should expect and making sure the residual/MF/and monthly all appear to be fair

Thanks again for your help!!

Upfront taxes seems to be the tax on my capital cost reduction of $2798.12

Got it. With the $725 dealer fee added in as a cap cost and the upfront tax on the cap cost reduction your numbers line up. (There's a couple of dollars variance on the monthly payment, $81 over the life of the financing but that would be close enough for me). MF and Residual looks right. Discount is very aggressive. Sounds like a deal!

If you used the msd for total of 4k ( you get it back at end of lease) your payment would be 437. This way is 2k dollars cheaper.

^Yes, MSDs (multiple security deposits) reduce the money factor by allowing less of the car to be collateralized in the loan. They function like a CD where the lender holds your funds over the life of the loan then pays you back the face value as a lump sum when the loan matures. It depends on how much cash you want tied up. Not all states allow MSDs.

What SEB is suggesting I think is rather than putting that $4k on the loan as a cap cost reduction, do $4k in MSDs, finance everything into the note and the net savings would be $2k although the payment ticks up a bit.

Is it possible for the monthly payments to be increased by the gap insurance?
Is there a standard value for the acquisition and disposition fees?
What is the lease cash for May if any?
What are the MF and residual value of the C450 for the month of May?
Can MSD be used in NY?

So, $600 per month 36/12 leases seem doable on the c450? Only acq fee TTL down.

Are MB dealerships usually willing to install the aftermarket tires? How much does the installation usually cost? I would like to factor this cost into the total lease cost.
I've read, and have been thinking the same thing that the 19inch rims are getting only 9,000 miles on the run flat Continentals. I plan on replacing with a high tread rating non run flat tire at around 3,000 miles (hoping i can get 35,000 miles out of normal tires) and putting the run flats back on at the lease end.

When I was looking it seemed like 10% was about average. I just asked the dealer for wholesale on my trade and 10% off. I got it even though I ended up doing a build.

I do not recommend the W205 C300. During my 3 day courtesy car rental I was really amazed at how the C300 feels like an entry vehicle. The ride quality was unMerceds. Ina addition, every time you close the door you get a loud rude crack in your ears. I just didn't feel good driving it, so much so, I couldn't wait to get my W204 C350 back. The drivetrain was rubbery, and the startstop on 4cyl is jerky.

I have not driven the W205 V6 and hope it is better.
I am not trading, they've taken a step backwards IMHO.

Not my experience at all, and I was coming from a $106,000 S550. My dealer had a fleet of 204s and I avoided them at all cost. Uncomfortable, cheap, hard plastic interiors. Probably the least Benz-like Benz I've ever been in. I had a 205 loaner for two weeks and traded the S for one.

My friend had a 2013 C300 4Matic...he felt my 2015 W205 was superior in just about every way (especially the interior)...so much so he traded it in for 2016 C300 4Matic.

Download the spreadsheet, plug your numbers in and see if it matches the dealers figures;

10% is about average, so $44k. That's presuming they don't sneak anything in on the back end.
