Unfortunately our dealer forgot to add an option.... the pano sunroof...so we let this one go and reordered another one...with pano roof and push button trunk closer...and the motor is no joke...it pulls..surprised me feels like the twin turbo v8 in the bmw 650i...and on start up the car sounds like a beast until it warms up then its quiet

I would tend to agree, when I picked up my 4 new 2014 EDP's in May, Mercedes said that all of the cars in Germany HAD to have kits like this to be legal to drive over there. I have my kits in the cars. They look similar.

Nice car, those are the wheels to get. Looks like it would be hard work cleaning those wheels. Can you do a video on the start up. I want to hear how beastly it sounds.

Nice looking car... Very nice in white. My only gripe is the iPad-like screen that looks like its mount out of place. MB would have nailed the interior if they did what Audi does, with the pop out screen.
Overall, it looks great and a nice evolution in design: Fresh!

So this tees up a question that I have been wondering and that is given that I am not big on the pano and would consider no sunroof what is the likehood that one could sell the car down the road that way. A 50k car without a sunroof sounds like a show stopper to me. I remember when the W203's could be bought with out a sunroof and thought that they were in the cellar in the used car market.

Ive had sunroofs and pano sunroofs on other cars (which I leave shut most of the time), and would rather the extra headroom. IMO, trying to 'guess' what future buyer may want is tough so I'd get the car for what YOU want.

I had a dealer try and sell me a car with pano and try to use that strategy (resale value). I wouldn't buy a car thinking about what someone else would want...I buy it for what "I" want...and I "don't" want a pano roof. I've had a sunroof and can count on one hand the number of times I've driven with the roof open...it just has no appeal for me. But again to each his own...and I'm guessing a pano roof on a used car (resale) may be worth what..$100 - $500...definitely not enough for me to add because of it's resale value. Lastly 110 degrees in Vegas in the summer...you'll be keeping it closed.

Yeah I see no appeal to the sunroof either, definitely also can count the number of times Ive opened it. Easy to fix when there is no sunroof at all, just get a black roof wrap.

I keep the shade open frequently and pop up the rear; I never drive w/ the sunroof actually open. I also rarely have passengers in the back (and almost never during daylight hrs). I think might just forgo the sunroof, too....
