Just picked it up at the dealership on 9/8/2014

Congrats! awesome car. I love the red leather! Do you plan to keep the windows as is or are you going to tint them? Also, I am curious what the headlights do when the switch is in the position to the left of the auto position. Do both of the main light modules light up or just one?

Thanks for the light pic. I'm not sure but I suspected that both modules light up for low and high beams. And then increase intensity with high beams on. I was thinking that the switch the left of auto was just low beams and to the right of auto was high beams on all the time...but I wasn't sure.

I also ordered the red interior and i'm on the fence about a tint... I don't really want to hide the red interior but I like the look of a mild tint. I'll make a decision once my order is in....

I have had multiple red leathers... bright red leather.. and also a touch darker... on both of these cars I had 35% tint... the 35% tint still shows you have a red interior but it blurs the face a bit... you can tell man vs woman but can't really make the face out... IMO it keeps the car cooler, looks better from the outside and still shows the red interior. WIN WIN in my eyes.

Question...are you coming from another German vehicle with turbo or another turbo car? I am curious to see how would you compare the c400 performance. I haven't had a chance to drive a C400 and I was wondering if the performance is really better than the S4 and 335i.

Thanks. I've always loved white cars.
My background is alllll Lexus, so this is my first experience with true performance. Haha! Don't get me wrong though, I still have and always will have major respect for Lexus. They build a great, great car, but the sportiness of their cars still needs work for sure.
I owned an 2010 IS250 AWD, and a 2013 ES350. So the Biturbo V6 on this C400 is a new level for me. So I apologize for not really being able to tell you how this car would compare to the S4 and 335i. lol

My father has had a 2014 GL550 with Distronic for a little while now and it works great. Truly, the time he and I have had with the system I can say it's wonderful. Works the same on my C400. Wouldn't be without it. Is there a chance of something going wrong? I'm sure there is, nothing we humans make is perfect, but overall, it's amazing how well it works.

My car has the premium package, sport package w/ 18 in AMG wheels, Agility Control (which has a Sport+ setting as well as ability to set the car to your own "Individual" set-up for manual shifting w/ paddle shifters, quick throttle response, firm/sport suspension and sport steering). And I have the Burmester surround sound system.

Nope got mine 2 days ago and I have it, there isn't one option I don't have except for the parking assist so if anyone has questions feel free.
