Seems like they cut it short.
I finally got to drive the 400. The driving character was not any different than the 300, it simply had a lot more motor. Unfortunately it was a short silly drive so there was no opportunity to drive "vigorously"

I still think this is THE definitive review of the C Class.
It's 27 minutes long, but worth watching if you have the time.

Here is my favorite for the C400:
Alex is probably my favorite youtube reviewer but this fellow is good too. Just talks too darn fast and misses a few points, for example he says the dash is stitched leather when in fact its MB tex . I think he does actually means "leather stitching" as a type of stitching rather than whether the material is actually leather but it comes across wrong. Alex is superbly thorough and gets essentially all his observations right. His review on acura's 9 speed is illuminating on the actual workings of the ZF tranny which is superbly complicated.

Clearly more and more reporters are getting the point of this car.
Early reports were all about "Is it as sporty as the 3 series through the bends or not" Oh, it isn't - ergo it is worse.
