So I've seen the Red AMG Brake Calipers on several MB vehicles at the dealership. Wondering how I could upgrade mine on my C300? Do people just powercoat them, or is there an aftermarket option?

it's really easy and cheap. I just removed my wheels and sprayed paint the calipers. That's what I did with my bmw and that's what I'm going to do with my C300. Spray paint costs less than $5 at HD. Make sure to cover everything except the calipers though.

I was researching Audi Q7 for my wife, and there is a good discussion on painting calipers.

I had mine professional painted & clear coated, it does stand out and look fantastic.

I have been contemplating getting my brakes painted/powder coated red since I purchased as it breaks up the "black" especially if the windows are tinted and seeing how good it looks on your car has inspired me to go ahead....
I am also in Melbourne and getting my black beauty in a couple of weeks. Any chance you could tell me where you got yours done and how much it cost? I was worried about taking it to a mechanics as I want someone who knows how to remove and replace the calipers correctly....
Cheers.....

I used Easy Calipers, they do fantastic work. You can either take it to their shop or they come to you.
The guy was very careful and no complaints at all. From memory it was 300 (cash) for all 4 calipers painted red, clear coated and decal of your choice.

p.s. The rear caliper is small, but still look good as a contrast esp in a black car.

2015 C300 Sport, Steel Gray, Premium, Sunroof, Multimedia Package, Airmatic, Lighting Package
Brush On Kit
So with the sport package, you get ventilated disks and "painted" calipers - but they're painted gray. What's the point? So after way too much research on the internet, and after getting a quote ($50 or $75 per caliper, I can't remember which), I opted for the $20 brush on kit. I threw away the little flux brush that came with it, bought a $1.00 paint brush from the local hardware store and off I went.
10 minutes in, I had very serious second thoughts - "OMG, What have I done?" But in the end, I like it. I'd do it again. Give a dash of punch to the Steel Gray.
The decals were off of eBay, out of Canada. I got impatient and actually applied them through the wheels (tweezers required). I'm mildly thinking about stealing the little MB tristar from the other decals to put on the rears.
Cheers.
