I think that's the best option - but the problem is I live in Canada. Does anyone know if this will be 100% compatibility to the Canadian version of the vehicle? Not sure if there are any differences there.
As for the illumination - based off of all the reading I've been doing, is that if your car doesn't have it then you would need to order a part with the illumination and hook it up, or order an illumination kit. But not sure how to go about doing that.

as is going about German car I suppose that should be the same so on this site you can pick if you want with or without clock, so must be compatible. (would be warning that is not suitable for US market or similar)

You should be able to order the dash trim from any of the online parts retailers. There are threads within this forum where many have done the swap you are wanting to do. If your car did not come with the clock, the GLC ash dashboard fits the C.

One quick question I think is assumed, the radio/media/Navi/hazard switch, with or without the clock in interchangeable correct? I know the clock isn’t going to work, but is that switch panel plug and play on it’s own?

I’m going to cover the clock with an nice aluminum AMG Emblem. I don’t feel comfortable adding the wiring as my local dealers are weird about mods. Maybe I haven’t found the service advisor yet. Either way, i was just double checking the hazard switch panel was plug and play going from no clock to clock. I’m going to go with a matte carbon center console.

Outstanding, thank you very much. Out of curiosity, does anyone make a silver ring that goes around the outside of the no-clock switch panel? Always thought it was odd as it’s the only think on the center console that is not lined in silver.
