Quote: Marc is great. I too purchased an extended warranty from him. I did research before purchasing as at the time I wasn't fully informed, but I can say with confidence now Marc Rose is the man to talk to. If anyone is considering an extended warranty or maintenance plan I highly recommend giving him a call- you won't regret it.
So what was the final price?

Another happy customer with Marc Rose. Thanks to all who suggested him and to all those who wonder - if you're going to get an extended warranty i would highly suggest calling marc @ wi simonson MB. remember he's in california and answers his cell (818-266-4305) so only call during Pacific time work hours.
He does a great deal.

I've been trying for several days (emails earlier in the month) to make contact to Mr. Rose, but receive no responses via email, text or phone calls.. has anyone ACTUALLY spoken to him recently?

I'm starting to wonder if this is just some urbran myth thread. ;-(

hes not a myth - i had contacted him a couple weeks ago and caught him as he was going out of country on vacation so needed to wait for him to get back to complete the transaction.
keep in mind the amount he's making on these deals is so small you need to be ready to pull the trigger once he provides a quote - don't ask a lot of questions or have request a bunch of different warranty options/quotes. figure out what you want, request the quote, have your vin and once you get him his going to have a great price.

When I was collecting information about extended warranties another suggestion was made. You could try reaching to this guy if you don't hear back from Mark:

Jason Mayes
414-727-6722
jmayes@iamilwaukee.com

I don't how his pricing would compare to Marc's as once I reached Marc, I never looked back.

My advice is keep trying. I am another happy customer of Marc Rose at WI Simonson Mercedes. Called several dealers in my state and Marc beat all quotes by lots. If you have done some searching call him now. You will not make another phone call. Straight forward, courteous, and professional. A pleasure to do business with and a great price too! Done deal in less than 7 minutes over the phone! You can reach him on his cell at 818-266-4305.

Always read what is and is not covered and what you have to do to make a claim if it's a third party policy. Never go by price alone. My two cents.

Can anybody confirm that the MSRP for the ELW for 7/year and 75K is $2500? I believe that was the MSRP just on 1/28 but the dealership is claiming it may have gone up to $2700? Really? I think that is bunk. I found these list prices online which makes me think I caught him in a lie. I got a price from him today and purchased it but recalled two weeks ago that it was a lower price. I went home and found his original quote. He claims he has not run my card yet and will look into it on Monday and then give me a call and will figure out what the issue is. Do you think there is anything between today and Monday that he could somehow screw me over on (I have signed documents)?

I'm home now and they are closing. If he doesn't honor it on Monday, I'm going to cancel it and just call the guy above.

When I was looking around for 7/75k local and online, retail was quoted anywhere from 2500, 2700 and 3700 (if you can believe that)

out of market deals were not as low as quoted the beginning of this thread (read, not 1700 as some indicated for early 2015 deals)) but close'ish..somewhat under 2K is out there.

In the end, does it really matter what 'retail' is, if someone is going to give you a great price?

My understanding is that the max markup that a dealership can make is $1000 off of MSRP which is why I'm asking. The lowest I've seen is basically a $100 profit margin per contract. That is why I'm asking what the MSRP is and whether it has changed recently.

I'm looking to buy the 3 service pre-paid maintenance. Anyone know how much this should cost with the discounts from these dealers?

Quote: Does Marc Rose offer discounts on MB pre-paid maintenance plans as well?

he said to add 15% to any of the prices on the list, plus tax....

If that's on the S, the numbers sound low as per my price list on the first two. I just paid 3392.00 including tax here in FL for that MB policy.

I'm not using Cary. I'm in NJ. I just used the link as it shows $2500msrp for the c class. Didn't know if the pricing changed.

I hear that price list has increased in 2016. That's last years.

that was on a c, c450 to be exact not that it matters within the range..

as for the service and maintenance plans, pretty much nobody offered more than a 50$ discount at the most on a 4/40 plan. They said there was "no margin" in it for them to discount.

For someone having just offered nearly 35% off a warranty plan, I believed it when they said the service plans had no real discount available.

You really have to do your homework on price and what plan depending on the MB you have.,Age , amg etc all weigh on the plan you should have. Some cars are better on the 3rd party plans ( as pointed out in other posts ) whereas others are better on the MB backed extended plans.

Extended Warranty - Marc @ W.I Simonson
Just purchased an extended warranty from Marc Rose @ W.I Simonson. Marc was easy to deal with and fair on pricing. His preferred method of contact is mobile. He walked me through the entire process and was overall quick/painless. Thanks Marc!
