Does your W205 sound like a cricket (insect) when you start the car?
Yep, the title is right!
Sometimes when I get in my C250 (Australian model) and start the engine, I hear a slight chirping sound almost sound like a cricket would make.
I know it's strange but that is what it sounded like. It doesn't last long and I only hear it usually on start up regardless of the weather.
Anyone else experience the same thing before?
I'm trying to diagnose where the sound might be coming from....but without success.
Appreciate if you guys have came across this and let me know what was the fix.

Yes that's the sound!!!! I'm glad I'm not going crazy. Thanks Maniac.
So this is "normal" according to MB - what a **BS** (sorry!). I might talk to my dealer and see what they say about this.

I'm currently in the process of expressing my dissatisfaction at this feature to my dealer. Not having any luck so far.
Germany apparently say that they have no plans to fix it.
I'm going to keep complaining until they do.

Let us know the outcome.
The other annoying thing for me is that you can hear the sound (what I believe) is the HD from the COMMAND system churning away....even when you have turned off the car. **sigh**
