The car is trucked so cannot understand why I have to wait +2 weeks since there is no complex logistics like when the car is transport d by the sea. Anyway I will try to stay patient 3 more weeks...
Maybe! I can ask my sales person at the dealership if he can find out the part number for the c63's ashtray cover.
Where can we get the driving wheel sticker / badge btw?
I found a driving wheel sticker on eBay. It is not an OEM as this item doesn't exist as a part.
As for the ashtray cover badge and as I already said the part existed but is not sold anymore by MB. You can try your luck with your local dealers but I doubt you'll find it.
Moreover, I don't recommend buying the complete c63 cover with its badge if you have a natural wood insert because there will be differences with your car trim.
Here are the references and part number: item 125.
Haha well done but sorry to disappoint....drum roll please....GO GREEN!

Hahaha. I was there to witness it. In fact I was in Germany with my dad a couple years back picking up his euro delivery s class watching the big ten champ game streaming on my phone at 2am to watch that other disaster.
my thinking is, you must be trying to hide something. haha
if i spending almost 70k on a car with all the taxes and fees, i sure dont want people to think i just driving a C300. haha
90% of people will see C450 badge, think it's pretty much a C300, and then recall the old Merc commercials where they said "C Class starting at $32K" at the end. They think your car costs $40K. I told a friend I was getting a C450 and he said "Don't get a C man, C stands for "cant afford it". Most people still think C Classes are the cheap Mercedes option.
If you wanted people to know your car cost you $70K, getting a C Class probably wasn't the best choice...

Having worked for the company many years in Europe, i can tell you that the end of year holiday period is a huge downtime across the enterprise and the dealerships..
When a car arrives at the dealership, there is a bunch of dealer prep and inspection and testing that is done prior to delivery to the customer. I'm not talking about the fluff junk that some dealerships do for $$, but real manufacture prep post shipping. As it is the holiday period there MAY be a lack of staff and availability to plan for all the dealer prep that needs to be done prior to giving you such an important product.

precisely. in fact people who are butt hurt over me driving nice cars at work, i am able to tell them i downsized from my A6 to the C. They don't know the difference, so its an easy way to get around that conversation.

What are your thoughts on the 19" summer tires vs. the 18" all-season tires? Do you think it's worth it and safe to get them? Do you think it's absolutely essential to change them every winter? Or would it be best to simply stick with the 18s?
Also, does anyone know of a set of 19" all-season tires that I could simply throw on the car and leave them on year-round? Maybe something with better tire tread that gives the car a smoother ride, but would still allow me to have the rims I want? (And also not be ridiculously expensive)
Thanks in advance.
Not all all-season tires are created equal. Many are really geared for dry/wet weather in colder temps, but not for snow. The 18" ProContact Continentals on my C450 also have the M+S rating, meaning they should be good for light snow as well. As this winter has been mild so far, I'm leaving the OEM wheels and tires on for now.
Dedicated winter tires (with the mountain and snowflake logo) will ALWAYS outperform any other type tires in the snow.
The proper answer here is that the C450 is the sportiest non AMG sedan MB sells. The current E class, CLS, or S class are NOT considered sporty in any way. Actually I'd go as far to say with the C63 suspension the 450 is probably the best handling non AMG sedan MB sells. Even the E550 stock wouldn't be considered a corner carver, but it can haul a$$ with that V8.
