Fantastic. Thought I was doing well with my deal, but you did great!
Not trying to tick off the AMG guys but atleast I can say after the tune I wouldn't get totally blown out by one : )
IMO, debadging these cars whether C450 or C63 is as Charlie Sheen would say, "winning."
Haha well done but sorry to disappoint....drum roll please....GO GREEN!

As for the ashtray cover badge and as I already said the part existed but is not sold anymore by MB. You can try your luck with your local dealers but I doubt you'll find it.
Moreover, I don't recommend buying the complete c63 cover with its badge if you have a natural wood insert because there will be differences with your car trim.
Here are the references and part number: item 125.

If you wanted people to know your car cost you $70K, getting a C Class probably wasn't the best choice...

When a car arrives at the dealership, there is a bunch of dealer prep and inspection and testing that is done prior to delivery to the customer. I'm not talking about the fluff junk that some dealerships do for $$, but real manufacture prep post shipping. As it is the holiday period there MAY be a lack of staff and availability to plan for all the dealer prep that needs to be done prior to giving you such an important product.

precisely. in fact people who are butt hurt over me driving nice cars at work, i am able to tell them i downsized from my A6 to the C. They don't know the difference, so its an easy way to get around that conversation.

What are your thoughts on the 19" summer tires vs. the 18" all-season tires? Do you think it's worth it and safe to get them? Do you think it's absolutely essential to change them every winter? Or would it be best to simply stick with the 18s?
Also, does anyone know of a set of 19" all-season tires that I could simply throw on the car and leave them on year-round? Maybe something with better tire tread that gives the car a smoother ride, but would still allow me to have the rims I want? (And also not be ridiculously expensive)
Thanks in advance.
Not all all-season tires are created equal. Many are really geared for dry/wet weather in colder temps, but not for snow. The 18" ProContact Continentals on my C450 also have the M+S rating, meaning they should be good for light snow as well. As this winter has been mild so far, I'm leaving the OEM wheels and tires on for now.
Dedicated winter tires (with the mountain and snowflake logo) will ALWAYS outperform any other type tires in the snow.

Thanks! I'm glad I stayed patient and waited til my build came through because I was fighting some urges in October & November.
