C450 AMG Sport discussion only.
No night package plus on the configurator. I am wondering if they dropped this option. Tmoney and I both might be headed to the body shop to have are diffusers painted black.

The only semi-bright spot is the cost is almost spot on to the order sheet.
$63,795 M-B Configurator
$64,095 Order Sheet
300 Less Night Package Plus
$63,795 Net Order Sheet

My completed build sheet has "comfort package" with heated seats and no ventilated seats rather than the interior package, which is indicative of the 2015 models. AMG steering wheel and seat belt colors aren't there and you can't even view the rear side of the car. I think the only thing they finished is the pricing and adding some new packages.

It's an embarrassment compared to the configurator on the German site.

I configure my build on the US site, and it comes to $64,225, I paid CDN$63,990 plus destination. That's like US$48,300. I'm happy, but it's a real head scratcher, our cars are usually more expensive
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
(Either that, or get the VW rear-end event ladies... they are priceless
)
I just checked with MBUSA corporate customer care and they seem to think that the cars will start rolling-out of the Baltimore VPC now that it appears that picing has been finalized.
If you want to really feel good go to the German website and price-out the car. This makes the US deal seem sweet.
The configurator summary does not include the Driver Assistance Package that I checked off, but does include it in the bottom line total $. So there is still some work remaining on the website.
The site shows one of my three local dealers has a C450 in inventory.
It seems to come up as inventory for every dealer that I look at through MBUSA.
In order to get the Interior Package, you must ($2880) you must get the Premium 2 package ($1520) which lists the LED headlights (that should be standard) and the Burmester.
I had to check the rear camera ($460) mandatory as part of the Multi Media pack tage. After adding the park assist package ($1290), kept the option, but the final build stated that it was included with park assist, but still listed separately without a charge.
The Ash Wood was a no cost option, but was listed as "natural grain" versus "open poor" that was a $325 option on the 2015 C300 I believe.
Now that the interior package totals $4400 with the Audio required, I'm tempted t leave it out. $4400 for leather, power passenger seat, lighted sills, ambiet lighting and the Burmester. Seems a little overpriced. Also, the interior package lists the vented seats according the configurator, but the builds coming seem to not have it.

...it looks like that is the package triggering the Premium 2 package. That's a head scratcher

If I go in to the dealer tomorrow, I'll see if I can get them to play around with the order system and see if that is a real requirement or our cheesy configurator.
The car is supposed to be shipped early next week. I am guessing that I can close the deal by the end of next week.

As expected the C450 is 5000 dollars more than a similarly configured C400.
For the pleasure you get magnetic suspension (instead of optional air), 10% more rear bias, slightly larger brakes and lots of AMG badges which you can delete for free. Same engine and transmission with an "AMG tune" which are both also available from Renntech for 2000 bucks with more power (12hp) and TQ (20lbs). You cant get vented seats anymore.
So I guess I just saved myself 3000 bucks for a faster car. BTW, no mention of Pilot SuperSport tires, as expected, since there are no available run flats.

If you haven't jumped the bridge yet, you might be able to get a C400 with a 5000 dollar discount and pile those 10,000 bucks for a better "tune", real sport rubber and lots of other goodies
