C450 AMG Sport
19" pirrelli run flats ... they do pretty good up here in Alaska on the snow and ice...I drive it pretty hard all the time and can definitely tell the rear bias for the power... but on the dry pavement it doesn't understeer like most all wheel drive cars.. I came from the Subaru STI crowd and I've played with some tuned new ones and they can't hold a candle to my car stock also this car is way more sure footed than my older BMW that I had.

Just arrived in Paris yesterday for two nights and realized that there are a ton of mercedes cabs especially e-class and c-class even saw a couple of tesla eco-cabs!
Did not see a single C450, will you be the first in Paris with one, Bourne?

Bonjour!
Just arrived in Paris yesterday for two nights and realized that there are a ton of mercedes cabs especially e-class and c-class even saw a couple of tesla eco-cabs!
Did not see a single C450, will you be the first in Paris with one, Bourne?

No c450 on roads yet here I'll be indeed one of the firsts. There have been 2 deliveries so far and one of them is for a company.
Mine will be around mid Jan or if lucky few days before ...
Think to visit Galeries Lafayette outside vitrines will the xmas shows. It's wonderful.

also he picked up the AMG valve stems that I have on order as well.
may look around for some AMG badges to put on the floor mats.

Debating here going to test-drive the GLA 45 AMG w/ Performance Exhaust and Dynamic Plus suspension) but also just got interested in the similar price range C450 AMG.
It seems the C450 comes with a lot of things standard? but the exhaust has some improvement compared to the 45 AMG Performance exhaust sound. is it me?
I also cant find any videos on youtube showing how fast the car does 0-60 either and i agree with the other folks who mentioned on the 340 being faster.

We did visit the Galeties Lafayette on Boulevard Haussman and the window displays are amazing. We are staying at the Pullman and are very lucky to have front row seats for la tour eiffel. We will be departing tomorrow at 7am on the TGV for Nice where we will spend 4nights and I have already reserved a W205 C300 for 3 nights then pick up a GLA-class in Italy for my roadtrip into Milan and celebrate NYE there
I rented a V class last week to drive my kid with hers 3 cousins. Very comfortable seats on the back but I'm burning to get my c450 I hope a week after NYE.

I am running reps of the c63 optional forged wheel off the bay. I wanted to keep the factory look but add a little aggression. Took a risk on the fitament but worked out. Offset is 35mm, 20x8.5 and 20.9.5

Yes the 340i is lighter and more of that performance oriented straight line get up and go. The overall package of the C450 though poops on BMW in my opinion, interior, aesthetics, exhaust note, exterior etc

BMW 3 series wagon
Newb on this forum with a probably rhetorical question. I'm guessing that MB will never bring the wagon version of the C450 to the States? Might still consider the 4dr sedan next year. From what I can tell, it has fittings in the roof for cross bars. I need them for a secure mount for hauling my kayak around. The thing about a wagon, however, is that there's a greater fore/aft spread on the bars, which helps with long sea kayaks... and I have a soft spot for wagons.
