My car entered Canada over a week ago and yet it hasn't found its way to the dealership! I'm having trouble managing excitement here ;-)
That said, it's -30C this weekend apparently so it'll be sitting in the garage on its 19" run flats in the off chance it actually shows up.

Sadly I have not read the full 130 pages on this thread so I am kinda being lazy here but hopefully you guys dont mind.
I am having some serious issues with my 2014 CLA45 and contemplating a trade in on a C450. Anyone else on this forum who ordered a C450 and was coming from a CLA45?
I really like the interior, exterior and what not but I am worried that I will regret turning in an AMG car.

The CLA45 does in fact have a hand built turbo charged 2.0L engine pumping out 355hp and 332Ft/lb torque. I have the plaque on the engine and all lol.
I would say its more so an entry level AMG.

i really like the CLA45 tail lights, much more than c450 tail lights.
the reason i choose c450 over cla45.
c450 got more HP and more torque, should be more fun to drive ?
also C450 got more safety features, just compare the Driver Assistance package.

Next years model will be badged an AMG C43 but I haven't heard anything about the engine being taken from normal assembly line to hand built by a single technician.
The definition of what AMG means seems to be changing.

Is there any specific reason why cooled seats and heated steering wheel are not available on the 450? They are both offered on the c300. I assumed they were just standard fare before being corrected by my dealer. I just double checked and they aren't available on the 63 either.

It is a different steering wheel, so understandable the performance version doesn't have heat. The seats in the US are a mystery. It was originally included in the interior package pre-release, but when they started building them, they came out of the interior package and the package price went down. You can get vented seats in the C300, and I believe ion the C450 in Canada, because it gets so much warmer there. Just not in the C450 in the US.

The non sport designo seats do have heat but no cooling. I have the brown designo. They are awesome!

In the US (and perhaps only in the US) vented seats are not available with any seat style for the C450.

My dealer said this week that the C450 will not be coming to OZ, MB OZ will wait for the release of the C43 which is expected to arrive late this year.
