Shouldn't you be studying for the bar right now. Don't forget to ask your dad fill your trust fund. It would be a shame if that new c450 got repoed.
I've never owned jap crap in my life so why should I bother to know of it.
As for performance cars, I started with a Lotus in 1967, long before your politically correct *** even existed.
And, the trust was dissolved in 1972, when I bought a 4.2 liter E type, and promptly replaced the Zeniths with three Webers.

My old leaky GM quadrajet outperformed very POS weber that I attempted to downgrade to on my old Cheyenne PU. Weber=stuck floats and no power. The only Weber I'll trust is the one with a steak cooking on it.
If so, what would be the difference between the used C63S with 10k miles, and the one you own and took 20% in depreciation on in the first year while also not "breaking it in properly"?
Regardless, I would assume that very few people would knowingly plan to purchase a new car that they only plan to keep for 10k miles...given the hit in value they would take over those 10k miles.
I'm sure there are some nightmare CPO stories, and some fairy-tale CPO stories. Similarly, there are plenty new car nightmares and fairy-tales as well. When you buy a car, German or not, you never really know what you're getting...you just hope for the best.
All of that said, I do understand your point that owning new is the lowest risk option...

They called me and didn't mention this, but said they had great news and they were giving me 450 a month off my first three payments (so 1350), and a pretty good deal on lease protection (which I really don't want).
I expect this is to offset the pain due to the residual change but I wasn't impressed that they didn't mention it and am asking them to hold to the original terms.
I assume the original deal I signed isn't binding?
