C450 AMG Sport discussion only.

Your 3 rd critic doesn't surprise me at all. It is vey known that COMAND system is the less efficient and smart of the 3 premium German cars. I've been myself used to Audi MMI and don't expect MB to impress me on this area.
For the exhaust sound I'm sure all people on videos were pushing the pedal like crazy while i assume you're being a bit more prudent during the breaking period of your C450.
During my previous test drive I did some kick-downs and found the exhaust great. But this is subjective and depends on what you are used to and expecting.
the s class version is a bit of a pain with the control for the massaging seats as the controls are backwards from what you would be used to on the audi.

No offense to any young'uns who drive the S Class!

I can't wait
I think the C450 is in a very niche market and those who want one have already custom ordered theres. Very few of us here on the forums have purchased one thats been prebuilt on the lot

There were one or two options I would have liked to have on my C450 (Burmeister), but I sort of fell in love with the one the dealer had in stock. Black, with the black/red leather interior, pano, multimedia, lighting and driver's packages. I've only had it for about 46 hours, but I'm already attached to it.
When he undestood how stubborn I was and passionate about AMG, he stopped bull****ting me...
Indeed it is a very niche market as tmoney mentioned
The answer to why someone would pay the extra $$$ for the C450 is the same as why others would pay $$$$$ more for the C63. Personally, after having owned an AMG vehicle (albeit "just" a CLA45), I think the C450 is the perfect balance between the overtly sporty (the C63) and the more luxury oriented C300 and C350. I'm certainly glad I bought the CLA45 when I did, but now I am ready to be "coddled" a little bit while still having the opportunity to "put my foot into it" when desired. Dang, I still have to be at work for 5 more hours before I can drive it again....
It is also to start preparing my music setlist while waiting painflully for the C450

Big plus for me going with the 450 instead of the C64 is the amg specced 4matic. A perfect blend of performance and safety that is much required since my wife drives the car 1/3 of the time (we each have our dailies and the 450 is our fun car and garage queen)
Our neighbor is actually the Northeast regional AMG QA guy for MBUSA and one morning I saw him spin out on the turn into our street in a C63s on a slight drizzle day and I thought to myself, 4matic is a must especially when my wife is behind the wheel. As for myself, I only drive with the VSA off lol

but I'll buy it if I can...
