There's nothing unusual in the doors. Speakers, window regulator, switch modules for the power seats, power lock actuator.
My local shop did a full tint, including the windshield and the roof, no waiver needed and no damage. (They also "secretly" do the tint work for the local Mercedes dealer. They pick up and drop off at MB and MB marks the job up 25%.

Last week,I reached out to GT Haus about the Meisterchaft exhaust. They told me that the exhaust is ready, but they are waiting on a press launch. They didn't say when to expect this launch. No word lately from Cajun

Does anyone know if the front lip bolts off the c450 or is it part of the bumper?
I want to wrap mine black since i didnt order the NP and it would be easier to wrap it detached from the front bumper.
Thoughts?

Someone posted in another thread that it's a 3 piece unit that snaps into place and can be detached be reaching around to the backside of the bumper to disengage the locking tabs. I believe they said to take the center piece out first.

So, I've made several statements here that I don't care what they call the car or how it is badged, I just like the car. Wife's been driving in this non-stop rain and mentioned she needs the all weather mats (that we have for most of our cars). When I jokingly told her they would have the MB logo and not say AMG like the carpeted ones, she wasn't pleased....

Meanwhile, my girlfriend couldn't give less of a **** about my car if she tried. I've tried to get her excited for it to no avail.

True, I always make her tell me which interior she likes better...but it's like pulling teeth even getting her to pay attention to the pictures as I try to show her.
She's also the reason I am going grey instead of white, when I drug her to the dealership to see the C450 I had ordered she tossed out a "Should've gotten grey instead of white" so I switched that.
Regarding the Grey vs Silver CF, after a day of looking at the pics over and over...I'm sold on the Grey CF with the new tone of Saddle Brown. If I were getting the same Designo Saddle Brown as before, I'd go silver CF all day (I actually tried to change my C450 order to that but it locked the morning of the day I tried to make the change).

Ask me how I ended up with a turd-brown Audi A5 for three years. Never again. My car, my choices. I'm the same way when it comes to her car decisions. She liked a turd brown new Q7 slightly more than a new MDX that was $20,000 less because, and I'm not kidding, the center console on the Audi was prettier.
We got the Audi. I encouraged her to get what she wanted, because I'm a swell guy, but more importantly when I bought my next car...

I gave her an even 50% say cuz she is paying for half of the vehicle's monthly loan. However, I paid the $9k down payment personally and am paying for all the mods...but I get to drive it 95% of the time

I get the final say for the car, but when it comes to the aesthetics I always ask for her opinion when I'm 50/50 on something. I've got a couple buddies I ask as well; I've found that asking for others opinions also leads to them providing a unique rationalization for their choice, which usually leads me to being able to make a final decision easier whether or not I agree with what they chose (i.e. my buddy told me to stick with Linden Wood in the C450 because it's a luxury sedan and should look like one inside...not like a race car with Carbon Fiber. Same buddy said "go with the CF" when I switched to the C43 Coupe).
So far the girlfriend has been dead on with what little input she has given, the one exception being when she tried to tell me that Steel Grey and Saddle Brown Designo wouldn't look good on my previous 450 order...I thought she was wrong, so I changed to order to that anyway.
When I don't go with what she says it could theoretically backfire because then I'm just "ignoring her opinion...but luckily she doesn't really care anyway, so she doesn't get worked up about it. I will want a say when we go to get her SUV, because when the kids come along I'll have to drive it too...no way in hell my 6'3'' *** is getting in the backseat to put kids in a car seat. I've gotten very good at influencing her decisions, so I should be able to get her into a SUV I really like as well.
Also, by "girlfriend" I mean "future wife". Almost 5 years together, marriage is inevitable, I'm just dragging my feet on popping the question haha.

On a different note, I just scheduled to have my car wrapped in Xpel ultimate this wednesday by Leeberbs in NJ. Heard many good things about them on the tesla and porshe forums and their prices were alot more reasonable than some that I have received through referrals from friends.
I got quoted 975 for a partial front (curved) wrap which include ~20inches of the hood, fenders, full front bumper, mirrors, and headlights. Also having tints installed but not sure which ones I should go with. Any suggestions on the tints to use? Also, I'm planning on getting 20s in the rear windshield and 30-35s on the sides.

Nice dude, now that I'm planning to finance the car I'm thinking about wrapping it in Xpel when I take it in for tinting too...will probably do it fairly soon after taking delivery, as I'll essentially be getting the car right as winter starts. Let me know what you think once it's on there!
As for tints, I'm going 30% rear, side, sunroof...and then I may put 70% on the windshield.
