Also, take with a grain of salt member proclamations of their killer discounts. Often a good chunk of that discount off MSRP comes right back in thru a back door. Unless you can model and calculate your own deals it's impossible to verify an actual discount.
I still have the window sticker and P&S to prove the $10,185 (16%) discount I received off the MSRP of my $63,660 C450 I bought back in June 2016. The P&S also shows the additional charges of $625 I paid for the Venture Shield clear bra, $850 for 2yrs of pre-paid maintenance, $135 for state registration/inspection sticker, and the $34,000 I received for my trade (2015 C300).
I also have receipts that prove I received refunds back from MBOB (Mercedes) for the residual amounts of my previous pre-paid maintenance and wheel/tire insurance plans from my old 2015 C300.

Yup, I posted my paperwork on 8/1 showing over 17% discount and I didn't buy anything else from the dealer sine their pricing was too high. MSRP was $63,620. I got it for $52,704.
If you're able to build your own deal and calculate your own payment and you show a big discount with all the other numbers lining up I believe you. Back when the 222 came out, guys were getting 20% on close out 221s, so 16-17% isn't out of the question on a 450, but it's a limited window and dependent on how many cars are sitting unsold.
I'd hate to see the guy miss out trying to hit someone else's number (that may or may not exist in the first place).
With the C43's incoming, it's only a matter of time before someone gives. My C300 lease ends in December. I was told by a dealer locally that I have the opportunity to get 'pulled ahead' three months. December will probably yield better discounts.
Yeah, a pull ahead is just dealer cash applied in one way vs another. It's always there in some form. You can definitely run out the clock on the C450 although getting the car you want might be difficult. AutoTrader shows 202 cars nationwide.

For some strange reason, many of them are iridium silver. Cars.commalso has a couple pages worth of them. None of them are exactly what I want. I'Ve searched AutoTrader and Cars.com. We'll see what happens.

Pictures of my C450. I've tinted the Windows. Replaced the wheel center hub caps. Installed H&R Sport lowering springs and put on 42 Draft Design 15mm wheel and hubcentric spacers on the rear wheels. However, I'm not sure how to post my pics????
A little dark. Sorry.

Looks great! I was looking at lowering my C450 also, how's the ride now? What is it like in comfort vs. Sport+ now?
I assume the part # for those springs from H&R are 28811-2? Did you only put rear spacers and none at the front?
I like the ride now. you are correct on the H&R model number. The Comfort setting is tighter with the H&R Springs, but not as tight as the Sport+ mode. The Comfort setting I think you'd like. I'm stubborn and keep it in Sport+.I only put spacers on the rears as I thought the front tires are nice as is. They were further to the corners then the rears in my option initially.

Yes, I agree with front wheels being out more but maybe a 5mm will be good or 10mm at most. The website for the spacers did not list the C450. Do you have a part # for them? Do they also provide lugs and wheel locks for added length? Do you have a pic from directly behind rear tire?

I had a 4mm up front on my car, but ended up taking them off because they were steel and the front was then more aggressive than the rear.
I have an 8 in the rear and the front and rear are evenly matched.
I purchased the Audi/Mercedes Wheel & Hubcentric Wheel Spacers (sku: 42-823-015) because of what I wanted I had to go 15mm minimum as the C450 rear wheels has a 13mm lip and the Wheel & Hubcentric Wheel Spacers had to be bigger than the lip length. Look into the Audi/Mercedes Hubcentric Wheel Spacers. They may not require being bigger than the lip. Make sure you contact 42 Draft Design to talk through this before you order as my spacers were custom made. You will have to purchase extended bolts ala carte via 42 Draft Design. I'm not sure if they have wheel locks. I do not have a rear view directly behind my vehicle. I'll try and post one in the next day or to.

Since this is C450 discussion, wanted to add that the suspension on this vehicle in comfort mode is more comfy than my former 2014 C300 Sport, I was surprised. I kept hearing that the suspension is brutal on the C450.
I'm still noticing my car sounds rough on startup. It kind of sounds like my Sprinter.
I'm hearing this noise coming from the drivers front wheel well the loudest. It goes for at least the first few minutes of driving too. I'm taking it in next week but in curious if anyone else is getting this.

That doesn't sound too healthy. Are you sure you aren't causing damage by driving it until next week? Maybe you should send a link of that video to your service advisor and get his take on it.
If it was missing I'm pretty sure the CEL would go on. But it definitely hiccups a few times for the first minute. I was thinking it could be an exhaust leak.
Hey guys new to this forum and read pretty much everything on the last 20 pages and need some advice..Obviously I want to lease a c450, based on what I see online a discount of minimum 15% should be doable with ease ..I went to mb Caldwell based on recommendations and what they told me the residual was .55 for 12k and the "the best we can do is 6200 off" retail was 62,500 ..they thought I was stupid or something and I stated this is 10% off and I feel insulted with this offer ..( i get the standard mb corporate discount through a friend but no point on this car) after 5 hours of sitting they weren't budging so I left ...I really love the car as cars of other brands in the same class didn't appeal to me ..so I'm going to ray catena Edison as I see they have inventory of one, how should I approach them to get these 17-18% off deals ?..I will also trade in a car (it's going to be a loss /negative equity on my end to it being recently stolen) but I won't talk about the car till they settle on the payment of the car
P.s I see another local dealership has a certified one if I lease what % off should I aim for

Please understand that these 15%+ discounts are not common. Out of every 10 owners, there are probably 1 or 2(maybe 3) that have received anything north of 15% off. There are numerous factors that affect what type of discount one might receive from a dealership. By keeping your standards that high from the get-go, you will only be setting yourself up for disappointment.
Of course, this does not mean that these deals do not exist. However, don't walk into a dealership expecting them to give you 15%+ right off the bat. Do some homework about the dealership before approaching them with such a deal. There's a fine line between settling for a decent deal, and overreaching for a great one. I wish you good luck, and hope you get the deal you're looking for

As someone who was in the industry, I can tell you that one of the worst thing you can do, is grind the dealer down to barebones, and then throw in a trade at the end of the deal. Your best bet is to research and know what is a fair value for your trade and be upfront. Anything else will show that you don't trust the dealer, and they will walk your deal. I remember a manager ask a potential customer if he had a trade, got a negative reply, and when the customer tried to trade after the numbers on the new car were agreed on, the manager walk the deal, without even looking at his trade or give him a number. Trust is two way. Good luck though, the C450 is a great car
C63 diffuser install - Toronto/GTA body shop for benz
Hey guys
so I purchased the c63 w205 rear diffuser with exhaust tips. Tried to install by myself but looks like there are a few rivets and perhaps a bit too advanced for my liking.
Can anyone on the forum recommend a shop that can install this for me? Preferably in GTA??
