Almost exactly the configuration I'm thinking of with two exceptions. As I understand it, the Air Balance Package takes up most of the glove box and I find that undesirable. Also, you do not have a Parking Package. This includes a rearview camera, ultrasonic sensors and hopefully surround view cameras. All very important IMO. The surround view cameras appear to be back ordered so the package may not include them.
The discount that you received brings the price below what I believe the invoice price to be. This is phenomenal at this point in the model year. Would you share the dealer name with me?

What HRE's are you considering?
If I can't get the C63's 662 – 19” Cross-Spoke Forged Wheels – Black for a descent price:
I had these HREs (FF01) on my short list:

My sales rep at MB of Fort Washington just called me yesterday and explained why the car was not ready for delivery last week, it was due to MBUSA not releasing the 2016 C450 but instead the 2016 C300s were released last week.
Hopefully this week the 450 will be released, as I will also be the first to receive the vehicle in the region as well

I will gladly take the 2nd delivery in the region. I am hoping Friday 9/18 will be my delivery day and just take the day off of work and give it a test drive.
Are you purchasing the prepaid maintenance? I always use the dealer for service so to me it makes sense to purchase the maintenance plan. Last time I purchased the tire and rim insurance and essentially broke even. I will have to see how expensive it is this insurance is for the c450. I know the multi spoke rims in black cost ~$1,000 each.

The tire rim insurance is intriguing (specially in our pot-hole ridden state )

Not sure if you guys are considering the extended warranty, but this thread had some good info: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...elw-deals.html

I disagree, especially on the extended warranty. These add ons are how dealers make money, with markup of over 50% (sometimes as much as 100%!!) The majority of people who buys extended warranty would have been way better financially if they hadn't. I work in the car industry, and there's a reason dealers push extended warranties so hard, and the reason is not because they like you, the customer. Your best bet is always just to negotiate your best deal on the car, because any "added value" the dealers offer, are usually not worth it. Etching, nitrogen and paint and leather protector? Forget about it

It's the same with insurance. You may never need to make a claim, but if you do, it's a godsend if you have coverage.

Under many situations, you are likely right. But cars are complex expensive machines. A good friend of mine wound up trading his 50,000 mile BMW in when it required a $6,000 repair, which would have been covered under warranty had he purchased the extended warranty.

(1) What is the chance your car will be fine for 4 yrs, 50K, and then require expensive repairs for the remainder of your ownership?
(2) How much it will cost you, interest included, to cover against that small possibility?
(3) How certain are you that you will be keeping the car for years beyond the first 4 years?
(4) If you have to use the extended warranty, will the cost of repairs be more than the cost to buy the warranty? Enough for it to make sense?
Buy the warranty if you feel it make sense for you, I just know that extended warranty on new cars are not in the consumers best interest, and multiple research supports that. It's the same thing with insurance, life insurance is a no brainer, and we all should have life insurance, but buying life insurance to cover a car loan will cost you more than twice what it would, if you buy personal insurance

Each off us have to do what we think is right for our situation. If we are talking about used car, then warranty may make more sense. My point is, if your new car turns out to be a lemon (unlikely, but possible) those problems would come to the fore long before the 4 yrs, 50K manufacturer's warranty. What you need to ask yourself is

My plan is to hopefully keep this for a while (past the normal warranty). I work from home, so I also tend to put fewer miles on a vehicle (plus I am not planning a trade-in, so this will be an extra vehicle).

I like the wheels that I ordered (the 605s), but I also would like a wider wheel. After seeing the C63's 662 in person, I really like the matte black with the cross spoke...those wheels are stunning in person.
