I like the carbon bits, worth it in my opinion. Steering wheel is deluxe

I bought this as a commuter car, drive it about 26 miles a day, occasionally on the weekend.
Fun dive and enjoy it, is a great car. Front wheel/fender lip spacing is close, rear needs 10 mil or so.

Hoping for a solid tune that delivers good power and in a perfect world driving mode default, exhast for a bit more visceral sound (i have not experienced drone). 20-25 mil lower.
Congratz! When is your's due to be built?

Congratz! ...and welcome! That looks freak'n awesome! The saddle brown looks better in the dealer's pics than on the configurator. (Wow, credit to the dealer for not using his phone to take the pictures )

We'll need more pics when you bring it home.

question: was anyone able to get non runflats on delivery? my dealer said I could only get runflats. I really don't like the ride of runflats, and I have an air pump that runs off the lighter.

Hi, could you put up a picture of a shot of the rear? I want to see how the CF spoiler looks. i was hesitant to order it because of that chrome horizontal piece on the trunk. I was going to debadge emblems and somehow wrap that piece if possible.

My car is iridium silver. I don't like a lot of chrome on it. I even went with night package plus for $200.

If you want non-RFT, you'll have to buy aftermarket tires after you take delivery of your car.

Probably trade laws/regulations... It looks like they can get pretty much any option a'la cart (most things that we can't even get in a package - like a regular sunroof for example). I am pretty sure that you can get summer wheels/tires and winter wheels/tires at the same time, with your new vehicle.

Interesting. I'm not a fan of RFT's, but I'm also not going to change them out and have to carry a spare tire in a trunk where there's no place to store one. So, I'm just hoping I don't find the RFT's frustrating when I get my car. Looks like my Sport came with Pirelli's. I've read some good and not so good users reviews about them. I'm not a speed guy, so I'm thinking they'll do just fine for my needs.

But after the test drive, I decided to stay with the Merc., concluding, I suppose, that no car is ever going to be perfect.
Agree, there's always going to something that you want and can't get, but at some point those other less than perfect alternatives start to come back into play. I think I need to just get into a dealer this weekend and see and drive the C450 and check out the non-perf seats. The car's exterior looks great from the pics buyers have posted. I just feel like MB has pulled a fast one us by taking the Burmester away as standard and making it an option and then taking the ventilated seats away altogether, while advertising them as included with leather. There's a little bit of the principle of things at play here that's torking my pork. Maybe I'll get over it. MB has certainly bet that most of us will.

FYI: The MBUSA build has fixed the visuals for the 450. Still nothing close to the German site tho.

Can anyone tell me which size winter tires the MY16 C450 takes? I am having a bit of trouble tracking this down.

Does anyone have any recommendations for tires through Costco or anywhere else that offers competitive prices?

Does anyone have any official mileage ratings on this car? seems odd that on the mbusa site there still wouldn't be EPA ratings

I saw that as well last week. Edmunds and fueleconomy.gov both have it listed as 21/29 (24 combined) which appears to be the same as the C400 4matic.

Supply issues is a tough roadblock to hit, as a business you have two options: don't sell any C450's because you can't include the seats you don't have, or sell C450's but don't offer the seats. Pretty sure every business in existence would chose the former rather than the later.

Luckily for me, being that my vehicle was the very first batch, the premium 2 package did come standard minus thr Burmester sound system, I think I saved on that. I just added interior cranberry red leather pkg, pano roof, linden wood trim, and lighhting package (pano and lighting are a def must IMO). Oh I was also given a 5% off MSRP on my order. I do semi-regret not getting the multimedia package, the wife wanted to skimp on that feature I for one would get it but i figure rebuttal process was not was not worth it.
The CF trim also picks up fingerprints. That's why I decided to not get it and just get the ash trim instead. Saved around $1000 from that

Oh really? That's annoying, getting conflicting reports on this as other said it has a matte finish to and doesn't print up. Guess I'll have to go mess with a car at the dealership before I decide.

Also considering the silver fiber trim bc I think it would look solid with the cranberry red seats. I doubt that light silver would show prints too bad - sure Viper can confirm.
