I thought about a pickup in Germany but that's not compatible with Xmas holidays. Snow can also make it difficult.
Who knows... may be Santa K will bring it to me on 24th

I do hope you receive your car by Xmas! As my wife and I will be in Amsterdam from 20-24 then Paris for xmas eve until the 26th then off to Nice for 5 days and driving to Milan thereafter. Hope to see your C450 around the streets of Paris!

Fine power band is not affected in 1/4. But it will take in affect 1/3 mile and 1/2 pulls. Nobody stop racing another car cuz one reaches 1320' Real world power.
50 awhp considered low to around here, Will make a difference at any track... Period.
That should shave .5 seconds and trap atleast 5 mph higher than stock
50 awhp peak power increase is nothing to be ashame of.. 70 awhp across sections of the power band is great with just a tune.

Also fwiw, coming from a tuning car, I do not consider 50 awhp, 100 awtq peak gains to be low...that is actually massive considering only a tune has been done.

That's exciting news, Bourne! I haven't tested my 450 in the snow yet but I think the 4 wheel drive will be fine on it.

C450, GLS 63 and a few other things
After months of reading this thread and test driving cars, finally placed order for the wife today.
- Palladium Silver Metallic
- Black Leather
- Black Ash Wood
- Premium 2 (mandatory with leather)

- Parking Assist
- Drivers Assist
Hopefully with the shortage of 360 camera, I can still get it sometime in Feb, but we'll see. Dealers ordering system was down when I ordered, so it is not "official" yet, but I signed all the paperwork.

Indeed there is the eoy freeze as we say in my industry. We will see anyway they have contractually to deliver it before January 7 th. Would love to have it before to use the holidays period to start the breaking period.

First off I would like to say thank you to all of you that continue to go to the c450 website. We have been getting well over a 1000 unique visitors a week, which for exceeds my expectations. It's good to know that the site is peaking peoples interest and affirms all the effort I have been putting in to make the site what it is today. I have been wanting to take some time to show how much I appreciate it and I feel this is the best way at the moment. Again thanks
I also am looking for people who would be willing to travel to louisiana to test their cars. You will receive free tunes for your cars if you do which should offset some of the travel expenses and would provide valuable data for the site and the rest of the users here. As of this moment I haven't been able to secure a quote for the additional ecu's needed to run the reviews myself. Please pm me if you are interested.

Yes, I signed a buyers order and filled out some other paperwork. I had to give a non refundable deposit as well. I've ordered a good handful of cars and more often than not signed paperwork. First time ever giving a non refundable deposit, always been refundable. Almost didn't do it because of that, but since the deal was pretty good and I was working with the dealer for a while, I caved.

it could be built on the 11th. I had a build date of Dec 7. It was built on Dec 1, and today the truck was going to pick it up from the quality control area for delivery to my dealer. I was told should be here by Friday the 11th.

I think it differs by dealer. My family had bought several cars from this dealer. I was told need a deposit, but after talking to sales person. He just copied my card and put it in a folder. Then he shredded the copy. So I think it's just procedural.

I just called my dealer and placed my order no deposit or card needed on file. About a week from delivery I wired over my down payment and it was smooth sailing from there. I would never do a non refundable deposit.

Received my first AMG accessory the Black AMG leather carbon like key ring. It is awesome. Never seen such quality and look even with RS products at Audi. I understood why it costed me 50 bucks...
