To me the LED's look like natural sunlight. Approx 5700 Kelvin. Bix should not look blue with standard Benz Philips burners unless they have worn badly & the arc gap has increased substantially & is out of focus to the lens.
When you see blue Bix on the road either someone has changed the burners into the 6000 to 9000K range which actually produce less light or the lamps are worn & near the end of their life.
The LED headlights on this car are very good and throw a bright, wide beam. I've had several cars with Xenons ... some were slightly brighter than my C300, others not. All, however, were fine on the mostly unlit rural roads I typically drive on.

What they actually do is throw a very cold white light so vs sunlight they lack a little yellow. You don't want blue. The human eye lacks sensitivity at that end of the spectrum.

^^ Cool graph. What's interesting is that when I see the blue tint it's always off the reflection from the car in front of me. My eyes are playing tricks on me.

Yeah ~ reflected & refracted light can do strange things to the human eye. I always laugh at some on this board that fit 9000K Blue burners believing the provide more light.

I was driving behind this landscaping truck early this morning which so happened to have an aluminum rear panel. Here is a perfect example of the different tones the LED headlamps give out. Sometimes they display bright white, sometimes blue, sometimes even purple.
