Wheel/Tire Fit Question - What do you think?

Hi All, Long time member but one of my first posts. Had a W204 and 2 GLKs. Just purchased a C400 (lease was up on my S4) with stock 18" wheels and have been thinking about purchasing the below.

Do you think they will fit and what do you guys think of the look? They are SL65 Reps.

F 19x8.5
R 19x9.5
Finish: Gunmetal Machined Face
Bolt Pattern: 5x112
Offset:: F +45 R +48
225/40-19 Front
255/35-19 Back

Yes, they'll fit well, go for it if you like the wheel, but I think you'll need to lower as well.

Yeah I had the same question so I contacted the supplier. They are supposed to be the same weight and spec. Seems like the company selling is pretty reputable and the price was good so I'm rolling the dice. Hope I didn't make a mistake.

They'll fit perfectly, I have that exact set up on my car. https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ew-wheels.html

I have 245/35-19 front tires and 255-35-19 rear and I'd likely go up at least one size wider on the rear as the tire is pretty stretched. I think 265 or 275 would be a better fit.

Don't put 225's on the front, the pizza cutters are way too narrow! 245 is perfect. You should also be aware that the spoke of the rim is within 1mm of the front brake caliper. I'm talking NO clearance, I can't even get a playing card in there. I thought about 3 or 5mm spacers but it doesn't seem to ever touch and I've put a few hundred km's on the car.

Thanks for the help! I already have the pizza cutters and 255 for the rear so I'm going to run with them for a while and see how it goes. But I will buy the 3mm spacers just to be safe. Will send photos when the setup is on.

When I changed the wheels on our car, I used the stock tires 225/40-19 and 255/35-19, the stock AMG wheels are 7.5 front and 8.5 rear, and I did the 1/10 wheels with a 19x8.5 with an ET45 front, and the rear 19x9.5 ET50. The tires stretch a bit, but with the more aggressive wheel size and offset it fills up the fenders nicely. With the offset of the wheels coming out a bit more the need to lower it becomes less of a priority, I am waiting to get some 15mm springs to do our car and we will see how the overall look is when that is done, but for now I am happy with the stance of the wheels and tires on the car with the standard height. I hope this info helps!

fyi, if the wheels have an ET48, then you should not need any spacers, the lower the offset the further out the wheels go, and the higher the offset the further inboard they will sit. The rear on my 9.5 is a ET50, yours with an ET48 should really look perfect!

Thanks! That helps! Your car looks great by the way. Is that the factory spoiler or aftermarket?

My front wheels are ET45 but someone earlier posted about the caliper being very large and only having 1MM of clearance. I just bought some 3MM spacers for the front off of eBay just in case....worst case I don't need them.

Thank you! I removed the factory trunk spoiler and did our deck spoiler.

In regards to the front wheels, the ET45 should fit just fine, my front wheels are 8.5 with a ET45 and so you should have no clearance issues. I would avoid 3mm spacers, chances are you will end up with a vibration, and might need longer lugs...there is a decent gap on the rotor hat to the threads of the hub, so be careful.

Hope this info helps!

Look forward to seeing the pictures of the wheels on the car. That wheel should look great.
