Blackberry Assistant (Siri, Cortana equivelent) in car

Does any one know how to connect to Blackberry Assistant via the steering wheel or Comand? I have full Comand with Nav and my phone's Bluetooth works perfectly with my car except for this one elusive feature I'm looking for.

That doesn't help with a Blackberry. I need to know if any BBRY owners here have got anything that works besides tapping the phone directly.

Essentially it tells you no. If there's no button for Siri or Google, do you honestly believe that there would be functionality for blackberry of all things?

Well I found the answer and it seems Blackberry is superior again

I just have to bring up the telephone dialer and there it is at the top of my contacts list as #Blackberry Assistant. I didn't have to create the contact and I can just use voice Comand instead of even bringing up the dialer.

Click dial and it asks what would I like to do. I can send BBMs, texts, ask the usual questions about weather, pizza etc that all the voice assistants do on other platform. I can ask it to read my last message from <insert name>.

No stupid aftermarket buttons to buy.

Remember it's not Apple whose name is on the side of the F1 team's cars

This also works with a Windows phone. Just save the contact (Cortana) and then call it via voice command, and ask away

Cool! Never heard of this before...great idea for stereos with clunky/lacking integration.
Does Android have something like this?

Superior? All I have to do is say 'Hey Siri' (granted, it has to be plugged in) and my phone does what I ask. No button required. A button, for $20 is available and would be nice once in a while, but still not required. And having to use voice command to call your phone? I'm sorry, but that's not integration. Also, I'm not sure what your point is about F1 team cars, but Apple makes about ten times the profit in a single day than Blackberry does in a year. Or to make even more of a point, they make more money in 3 hours than blackberry does in a quarter. Apple makes enough money every minute of every day to buy a brand new AMG GT-S. That's 525,600 cars a year. Blackberry could buy about 1,456 if they have an amazing year.

The whole point of this thread is about not having to touch your phone and have the prompts and results over your car's speakers. And if using the steering wheel voice button to connect and seeing it also in your contacts at the top of the list without having to anything is not integration then you don't know the meaning of the word and sound like a butt hurt apple sheeple who entered this thread mockingly saying there is no way it can happen because Apple can't do it. And the point about F1 is that the Mercedes F1 team is sponsored by Blackberry and there have been plenty of articles about how the whole team has bought into the platform for its security benefits and that QNX (Blackberry division) also provides the back end OS in MB cars and many other makes.

And in regards to this thread who cares how many phones Apple sells if you can't find a Siri native integration in your car.

You're awesome.

Also, my response above pointed out that Siri is already easily accessed with ZERO physical input, not even having to press the voice button. You say 'Hey Siri', it comes over the speakers, listens to you via the car's microphone, and goes from there. So, no butt hurt here. Clearly, the Apple solution is superior...

Having to plug it in IS physical input. I wonder why they did that? There has to be an app or way to change this, no?
If not, then both systems are flawed in this case.

Of course it is and but at least with my phone (BBRY) I can get in the car with the phone in my pocket and do everything from the steering wheel. One voice command and then I'm being asked what I want to do by the BBRY Assistant.
