When you're doing your comparisons, just make sure you know that the music clarity and quality can vary greatly depending on source (radio, satellite, CD, bluetooth, etc.) and the equalizer settings. I don't know if the B&O in Audis let you make adjustments to the full equalizer, but the Burmester in the W205s only let you change bass, mid, and treble (plus surround setting and fade).
Also each car is different, so settings that work best in one car likely won't be the best in another. For example, if you were to take the same settings from a BMW e92 coupe with Logic7 to the e90 sedan (despite being the same model w/ 2 more doors and same system), the music will sound different because of the difference in interior space/dimensions.

When "The Boss" is running the show, from the passenger seat it will more Il Divo, Rod Stewart, Michael Ball or Jim Reeves!!!
Anyway, I guess it is going to have to put up with a lot.... It will get a direst comparison with the BOSE in her Audi, so that will be interesting, as I rate that as "decent" but lacking in real depth.

^^ YES. If Bose is my only option I will always pass and design a custom system. And while I haven't listened to B&O mobile system, their home theater systems are a joke.

They use cheap Philips drivers in some of their most expensive & sexy looking speakers. That is a no-no when they could source components from people like Dynaudio, Scanspeak etc.
