Terrible wind noise in highway driving
Just bought a c300 in February, and last weekend for my first highway drive, the noise was very loud. I went to dealer to check, and the service person told me, it is design like this. It is so surprised to me, and I really regret I bought a c300.
My c300 was built in January. If anyone plan to buy a nice and quiet car, run away from Mercedes c300. Please Check for Audi A4 or BMW 328.

This is a common complaint on the forum, lots of posts about it to varying degrees. Persist in complaining to your dealer, the more complaints Merc get, the more likely they are to help.
Whats speeds do you hear the wind noise start?

Right now, wind noise at higher speeds is the most common complaint on the forum. Since many new C-Class cars do not have the problem, it can hardly be considered normal. I've owned two W205 vehicles, and had a couple of long term loaners, and none had the problem ... so it is certainly not part of the design of the car.
Unfortunately, no dealer fixes have been reported and MB seems reluctant to acknowledge the problem. In side by side comparisons, no apparent differences have been found between cars that had wind noise and those that didn't. Also, this issue is worldwide, and not limited to any particular assembly plant.
If it were me, and my dealer couldn't help, I would head over to a good body shop and have them take a look at the car. I'm pretty sure a decent shop could figure this out and come up with a fix.

Same with me, 80 MPH + if I'm talking on the phone I notice it, but with the radio on I don't. I also have a 40 mile commute (one way) each day on the highway and it doesn't really bother me.

As far as noise, I hear more noise in my CLA and I think the CLA is super quiet.
OP: keep pestering the dealer, C300 is better than my previous 3 BMW's.

I had a closer look at the door seal construction today. It has 3 levels of seal, against the bodywork, then the door, then the inner door seal. Its amazing any sound can get in at all with so many layers. I'm going to try and mask around various areas over the weekend and take the car for a high speed run. Even though I don't get any noise until high speeds it would be nice to know where the sound is generated so I can update here.

I took mine into the dealer about this as I get a noticeable wind noise above 60-65mph. They told me that they tested several other c-classes in stock and they all exhibit the same sound so there was nothing they could do. Pretty unfortunate actually. Other than that it really is an amazing car, but it's funny how a single (albeit significant) defect can ruin the overall experience.

C200 Avantgarde year 2014 (W205)
Base on my limited experience on my car,
I would said most of the noise is related with the run flat tyres.
I am not sure if all the MB in the world is using run flat tyres for W205, but when I change the winter tyres last winter I found out it have much less noise than the original tyres.

In the last few days some members have reported that their dealers replaced the rubber on the doors and the frames, resulting in major improvement in the wind noise issue.

Fortunately for me, I just so happen to drive past not one but TWO MB dealerships when commuting to work everyday. If I receive poor service at the dealership I'm purchasing my vehicle at, I will just start going to the other MB dealership instead.

Now THIS is how a dealership should take care of their customers complaints!

We have one Mercedes dealer in New Hampshire. The managers, and much of the staff, are women ... which is unusual for a car dealership. The level of service I've gotten from them has been incredible, and they are the only reason I'm still driving a Mercedes product.
The majority of complaints voiced on this forum would be non-issues if dealers took those complaints seriously, and made an effort to successfully address them to the owner's satisfaction. Exceptional dealer and customer service should be the norm, not the exception for any brand of car ... and Mercedes should be a class leader in this area.

Both
dealerships have indicated to me over the years they are separate business entities.
Actually purchased cars from both when I lived in NH.
I seem to ® ember the line was they separated several years ago (family feud).
Never did check the validity of statements, tho.

I stand corrected... Guess the sales folks did not want we to deal with their other dealership @ the time. Just looked up the ownership & you are correct. What is the old line "TRUST, but VERIFY"!
