Running in.. Nearly there.
So I'm at 1300km.. Nearing the magic 1500km that the manual says I can start to stretch the engine a bit.
Sick of babying the car, can't wait to give it some stick and enjoy it!

Certainly at this point, with the engine at normal operating temperature, there's nothing you could do to hurt it. Go have some fun.

I am looking for excuses to drive it, I have gone past 5k rpm only once, I am at ~1300km as well (820 miles).

As long as you guys see no abnormal temperature rise you can push your cars. That's more than enough mileage. If temp goes above normal you still have a tight engine then back off.

It's not an issue unless temperature rises at the above mileages. Frequent bursts at full throttle recommended. Still avoid constant throttle for hours. If you have to do a long trip back off throttle every 10 minutes or so & accelerate again.
