auto dimming for passenger side mirror?
Well, I've been wanting to ask for a bit now... somehow I remember that the passenger side of the rear view mirror too had auto dimming, and for a while now I don't see it dimming (if it were supposed to do so i.e.).
I tried the buttons under the inner overhead mirror, without much luck, and haven't got much time to look through the manual.
anyone who might have an idea?

c300
I have the c300 and the passenger side mirror doesn't have dimming. Only the driver and rearview have that.
Not sure if it's the same for your 400

hmmm, not sure... somehow I do remember the other mirror dimming too.

I found it very odd as well.. the 3 series had three way dimming on all mirrors, I noticed there is no off button for the rear view mirror either.
Although I must say the dimming quality is so much better on the C

I've had mine dim a few times in the middle of the day, not sunny nor any significant lights. Another oddity.

The passenger side mirror has never dimmed on Benz cars. Only interior mirror & drivers side mirror.

Merc400 - forgive me if I am wrong, but in your post, were you not referring to the passenger half of the INTERIOR rear view mirror, as opposed to the mirror on the outside of the passenger door?

I somehow remember seeing it dim in the beginning... weird.

Don't damage Benz Auto dimming mirrors. They are expensive to replace. Take care.
