AMG Front and Rear Bumper compatibility
Hey everyone, I'm a newbie around here. I've done a search, but couldn't find anything related to the W205.
Unfortunately, I'm part of the (un)elite group of people who failed to realize how aesthetically pleasing the AMG body styling looks on their W205 before making my purchase. In order to salvage my sanity, I was hoping to eventually purchase an OEM AMG front and rear bumper. However, some OEM parts dealers are concerned that the process is NOT a simple take-off-the-old-bumper-and-bolt-on-the-AMG-one. Does anyone happen to know if the OEM AMG bumpers will bolt on with my preexisting brackets, etc, or should I just wait for an aftermarket versions?
I can't be, or at least I hope I'm not the only one who made this mistake. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.
Jon.

Are we talking about the AMG sport bumpers or genuine AMG?
If it is the Sport package bumpers you are refering to they will fit pretty much bolt on if the bumper is complete that is,
if you buy one over the counter you need to add every little thing, decompress foam, plastic inner brackets, linings, wiring, radar, and sensors to get a complete one

Got it, that makes sense. Hopefully something will pop up on Ebay!
Thanks for your help.

Anything else ? holding brackets ?
More important, i notice that the placement of blind corner sensor are placed differently from avantgard to sport package, will they go crazy when i do the swap ?
Thanks for you input

AMG OEM products fits only if the car is an actual AMG or an AMG line.
My car is C200 AMG line all AMG OEM products fits on it I only have to remove and install.
I removed my grill, front lip, rear diffuser, rear exhaust tips and installed the equivalent AMG C43 OEM products. I also added the rear AMG OEM rear spoiler. I removed my steering wheel and installed the AMG 2019 steering wheel.

an OEM C63 bumper will not fit on a C300 for example, even if this C300 has the amg body style pack
things got complicated when they changed the mercedes-benz C450 to mercedes-AMG C43 to get more sales.
the C43 is a mercedes-benz sold by mercedes-AMG so all body parts of the C43 will fit any C180 up to C400
the C63 is a build up car by AMG and has different dimensions so some body parts will not fit regular W205's

there is a difference between AMG body styling parts (the amg sports pack for mercedes-benz) and AMG body parts (for cars that are mercedes-AMG)

Doa is correct.
Only the C63 front bumper cover will not fit on other C300/200 because the front track and fenders are wider, requiring wider mounting points for the bumper cover. C43 and AMG line front bumper covers are identical and both will fit on any C300/200. Everything else will swap.
The C43 and AMG line rear bumper cover were the same up to 2019 but the C43 changed in 2020, but the mounting points are still the same as on any other C300.
The body shop at my dealer has done what you want to do (add AMG line front and rear bumper covers to non-AMG line cars) to several cars after they hit deer (very common accident around here) and it turned out great.
Vic viper is also correct, though.
There are a LOT of extra nuts, bolts, brackets, wires, foam, that you need to get as well. If I recall, my dealer said it was around $5,000 just to swap a front bumper cover like you want to do...so maybe double that if both ends? These were all done after hitting something, so insurance covered it. It'd be an expensive proposition to do just for aesthetics.
To give you an idea of what's involved, years ago I replaced the front bumper cover on an E55 with an E63 one after an accident. Here was the parts breakdown from ten years ago, so it's probably a lot more expensive now:
Hood and Grille
211-880-17-83-9040 Grill (Non Distronic) $306.00
211-887-03-27 Pull for Hood Latch (This longer pull replaces pull on E55 hood latch) $5.50
Bumper external
211-885-38-25 Bumper Cover (Cars w/out parktronic or washers) $1420.00
211-885-10-22-9040 Tow Hook Cover Black $39.50
211-885-13-53 Center Mesh $160.00
211-885-17-53 Fog Light Surround Left $145.00
211-885-18-53 Fog Light Surround Right $145.00
209-820-07-56 Fog Lamp Left $202.00/
209-820-08-56 Fog Lamp Right $202.00/

211-885-06-16 reinforcement for right side of bumper lower $12.50
211-885-07-16 Reinforcement for Lower Bumper left $25.00
211-885-08-16 Reinforcement for Lower Bumper right $25.00

000000-000521 Screw for Fog light $0.70 (Order 8)
000-990-54-92-9051 rivet $.98 (Order 6)
That's about $3,350 (2010 dollars) in parts and no labor... so it's not going to be cheap going OEM any way you look at it.
Andy74 said he did the swap recently so maybe he can fill you in on the cost now.

OEM AMG parts are quite expensive: I frankly cant recall the parts numbers but I do remember the rough figures. Please note I dont dont in the US I live in Beirut, Lebanon. Some items from MB dealer other items from a German online shop called Kunzmann:
C43 Diamond grill + distronic glass star 650 usd
AMG front lip 800 usd
C43 Rear diffuser + Exhaust tops 900 usd
C43 thin rear spoiler 400 usd
C43 2019 steering wheel 2500 usd
Expensive indeed that is why i see many guys buying from Ebay.
OP let me know if you need part numbers and I will dig into my receipts.

To save yoursleves all the expense if your going to change the front of your standard car to amg line, chrome lip, buy all parts off fleebay, sooooo much chepaer than buying new,ok some parts may have minor damage but its getting sprayed anyway
If your going down the change amg line to amg c63 front OEM,do likewise get used parts off fleebay,,youll have to change wings and bonnet for the front bumper to fit, dont listen to the off puters, its easily done, ive done mines a couple of years ago, simples.
If you want to go down a quicker cheaper route, get yourself onto Alibaba and source a good supplier who will sell you the complete front end, wings, bonnet and bumper all to suit your standard or amg line car, wether it be a C,E or G they have the complete set,you must haggle with them on price and drive it down,if your in the uk youll find your postage/freight costs just as much as the parts your buying,Again I have done this on 2 cars,I used Carbest another company I used was Youkiss, avoid them, the wings and bonnet had minor dents on them on arrival, nothing major and fixable (it is being nocked about for 6 weeks on a ship) but wasnt packed well enough inside
Cost for the kits ive had have ranged from £650 - 750 then the frieght was around £450- 500 including your import taxes etc
You call, enjoy whichever way you go :-)

There is a difference between the two as the seller clearly mentioned that it only fits w205. On other products he mentioned w205 c205 and s205.

a few more. the two front bumper diagrams overlap but some parts are only on one of them. this /should/ all be filtered by VIN

note that car has a radar sensor thats right behind the grill, this is part of its intelligent adaptive cruise control and collision avoidance. its shown on the frontbumper2.pdf above.

Not it
Bruvv, that's not the question the guy asked in the thread.

Newbie, I answered the OP question and confirmed that OEM AMG products can be easily installed on AMG cars or AMG line cars (excepet C63). Its a simple remove and install process just like what I did to my car. Hence he needs to dig on Ebay for aftermarket.

I have a 2020 c43 amg and I just wanted to know if the airbag of the 2019 c300 will fit perfectly fine on my car as well as the front bumper of the c300 and the tail light of c300 2019 my car is a sedan and I will really appreciate if someone could be able to help ease my tension as I’m having a hard time finding the right parts thank you

This definitely applies to pre FL vehicles and most likely post FL, you can change the rear bumper between AMG (Line) and Standard (Avantgarde/Elegance) trims, you can also change the front bumper as well except for the C63 one as that fits differently to accommodate the bigger engine as long as it's the whole assembly, you can't just change out the valance between the 2 but if you have the whole assembly it's plug and play.

i have a 2019 Mercedes c180 and ive done the same, so i changed the front bumper to an aftermarked c63 bumper that fits the amg line. But now my front parking sensors don’t work because they are in a different location. Even the Mercedes garage cant fix it. Anyone that has the same problem?
