Can factory LED headlights be retrofitted ?
Short story is I didn't opt for LED lights (not the active/adaptive ones) and would like to add them. I have the halogen headlights.

Is it possible to do this by say, buying OEM LED headlights and installing them or is there more to it than that like internal electrical wiring and parts that are not trivial to change?

Everything is possible,


Youll need:


ILS Headlights approx $2000 a piece
level adjusting sensors at front and rear axle
New front SAM module
New Windscreen
MFK multi function camera (expensive)
A lot of new wiring and coding.

No I meant static LED headlights. Not the intelligent ones that move when you driving around a bend, etc.

Any idea?

Almost the same but you wont need the MFK and windscreen

To retrofit ILS you need headlights and harness from http://www.kabeldaviko.de and fev hours programing depend if you have front camera or not to full working ils.

see my all post is easy retrofit with this harness (http://www.kabeldaviko.de/product_in...-airmatic.html)
them only programing front sam cluster and central getaway in 1 day you can do this !

And who's going to do the programming? dealer? Indy shop? Anything is possible, technically. But getting it done in a practical way is another story.

Can I find them at Walmart? Geez, man. You're talking about the average Joe here. And to the average Joe, C4 is the explosive

So, yeah, almost everybody has a laptop. But nobody has sd c4 or 5. And if I could get my hands on those, I wouldn't know what to do with it.
