Cars to Northern Europe - Production Switching to South Africa?
I placed my order on a C 200 4matic AMG line today here in Finland and I’m waiting for my dealer to confirm estimated date of delivery. As I already knew, cars to Finland will soon be manufactured in South Africa instead of Bremen and it’s going to be close if I'll get a car made in Germany. I'm not worried about quality and wouldn’t otherwise mind getting a car from South Africa but delivery would probably be in January instead of October.

Just curious, is production switching to South Africa for other countries in Northern / Continental Europe?

As I know in Bremen they at the moment produce only station wagon and AMG (450 and C63/C63s). All others for European market are produced in SA.

My understanding is all European hybrids are also made in Bremen

AMG's are produced in Bremen, Other for Europe in SOUTH Africa.
My brother has car from Africa production, we live in Poland

I don’t think so. I heard it from two separate dealers. Anyway, I’m going to get a car from Germany and estimated delivery is in late September / early October .
