Hey Viper. Was informed the GLA250 Sport is now built, but hasn't been scheduled to be shipped. They are hoping to get some additional information by tomorrow.
Waiting on it is hard enough, but knowing my C is sitting on the roof of the dealer is harder.

Wow, I thought one car build was hard... you must be tough as nails!
You have to love at least the appearance of progress... I was able to get by on that (the feeling that things were moving forward).

But yes, it's good news to know the other car is built. I don't think it takes long to make it's way from Tuscaloosa to Tampa, FL. Just put the freakin' thing on a truck and ship it.

Man, love that interior. But white won't last, regardless how you protect it. Make sure your jeans are well washed and color stays on them.
This is the color combo I'm looking for but I'm kinda bumped that Performance Seats are not available in Canada and I prefer a bit of chrome around the windows which C450 can't have.

I was not born with the patience gene, so this is driving me crazy. I almost wish I hadn't gone over to the dealer to see my car in the real. It might actually have been better if they had never told me it's here to begin with.

I actually liked the "night styling" look of the C450, but it is kind of surprising that you don't have a choice like on the C63/C63S.

I'd love to do the tour. Personally, I think Mercedes should take a video of your car rolling down the assembly line when you special order one. Wouldn't it be cool to see your own car being built? I've watched some the MB Assembly Line videos and it's pretty amazing to watch a car being built, with little human interaction.
I am still waiting for How It's Made Dream Cars to feature a Mercedes-AMG instead of a McLaren

Actually, a few people have builds with designo Diamond White Metallic and designo Saddle Brown Nappa leather (the other option available besides the Platinum leather that I got), so hopefully we will get some nice pictures of that interior (and it will certainly solve your brown issue!

)I'm not sure if the saddle brown will look classy or horrendous in the flesh considering the black tex dash etc. looking forward to pictures from those lucky ones in the US.
