Seatbelt chime disable?????
Since I live on my farm and the mailbox is 1/4 mile away in my driveway.. The seatbelt alarm needs to go... Any solutions out there other than the obvious.. ? I'm not looking for clips that insert into the seatbelt instead to stop the chime.. I'm talking about real a solution ..

Likely nothing you can do except use clips. Your dealer would probably be the only one who could disable it and it's probably illegal for them to do so. If I were you, I'd just buckle up for that lengthy 1/4 mile drive and call it a day.

I'd be happy just getting rid of that obnoxious loud "DING" when you first open the driver's door!

I was in tune to the ding at first, and now I've just blocked it out. I don't think I even notice it anymore.

Thats funny because im the same way, about the seatbelt chime. But as soon as I have someone else in the car they start giving me ****

..is there a way to mute passengers?

Just do what I do. Don't let anyone else sit in your car. There. Problem solved!

I don't mind it (but could they not choose a somewhat less dissonant sound?). It seems standard for cars now to have a hello chime. My dad's Ford Fusion plays a repeating 3 note melody when you open the door. Now that gets annoying after the first few days.
