AMG-Sport is dead. C450 will now be AMG C43

Its supposedly going to be exactly the same but with an AMG badge on the rear but time will tell i guess.
The pictures of the cab do not even have the AMG logo inside on the panel.

That cab (in my eyes) Looks like they didnt take their time properly, i think it looks to flat. The part after windshield is basicly flat all the way back. Dunno maybe people like it that way but i dont.

Literally every single article states it and sites MB in stating it, including the Mercedes Press Release for the early reveal. But it all is related directly to the Coupe, I haven't seen anywhere that says whether it translates to the Sedan or not.

Of course the C450 is going to change for the 2017 model year, which is what the Coupe and Convertible models are. Why on earth would the sedan stay C450 when it's direct relations will be C43s? Come on guys.

People are passionate about their model no longer exists and depreciated. That's why everyone who has last year's iphone get look down upon and why phone names keep changing yearly.
All I care about is that not all models of C class are lumped into an insurance group. That means C400 and C450 will have a limited amount of owners, risk stays small and insurance stay cheap.
I already know I'll save $300 a year by switching from S4 to C450. Because the insurance industry has no history on C450 yet while S4 has gained in popularity so much that insurance goes up by quite a bit for every year that I owned it.

So much over nothing IMO. People here delusional if you think MB owes you something because of this. That said, they should have made the C450 from the start with 2 model years under it's belt, 2015 and 2016 and then made the switch. The C400 was irrelevant from day one.

I don't think anyone is saying otherwise. Most of the discussion is what other changes might be in store with the name change.

It's the same exact car, only the badge is changing. I don't like the change either because these aren't real AMG cars, but the car itself is not changing. The 2017 C450 to C43 change will be a badge and probably a transmission, i.e. the 9G.

Again, from what I've read here about MB owing people something, changing stickers on already built cars or dealers changing badges, some here are clearly delusional. If that isn't "basis" I don't know what is. What next, reaching back to the 2015 model year to change the C400s into C43s? You aren't one of those people are you? You must have just realized how dumb this thread has become.

1. Registration and tile are synonyms;
2. Title can't be amended or supplemented to comport with a manufacturer's retrospective specification or naming.
In this country, under all certificate of title acts, titles can be easily supplemented or amended.
In fact, as you know nothing of U.S. Law, it is you who are groundlessly confusing the issue.
Stop. Please.
Swedish law doesn't mean crap, here.
Oh, wait. That's exactly what it means here.

To be honest right now 99% of everything is hearsay.
