So if the dealer applies the new AMG badge (c43) to what is sold as a C450, does it still remain a C450 on the title or does it change to what the dealership is now going to call it, lol

Awesome car. I came from an S5 and the difference in power is amazing. I never felt the S5 pull me back the way the c450 pulls me back when pushing it. the sound also is much better than the s5. the only thing i can see happening from now on is getting a c63 coupe in the next 12-24 months. I never can complete a lease contract, always end up trading earlier.

no way!! I leased a c450 in October and I loved the car since then. I remember going to the dealer to lease a GL 450 for the wife and ended up leasing the GL 450 and the C450. It was funny, they showed me the c450 which i currently own and I fell in love with the car. While the saleswoman was showing my wife how to work the radio/command etc of the GL 450 I was reading info on the c450 in the back seat and ended up leasing the car.

I've had the car since September and I do love only issue i have with the car is the tranny. If they throw the 9G in the c43 i would feel ripped. Also i am doing 48mo finance

C450, GLS 63 and a few other things
As we noted, the 9G was always going in the C Class eventually. That's been known (or at least heavily speculated -can't wait for our resident lawyer post) way before the notion of the C450 renamed to a C43, and isn't necessarily related. If you want to keep feeling bad about what you have, that's your right, obviously, but this was foreseeable to happen in either 2017 or 2018. The C300 will almost definitely get it too (maybe the same year or maybe later), so hopefully we don't have a bunch of C300 owners feeling "ripped" as well.

Maybe if some who have spent time with it can list the negatives/short comings of this older transmission paired with this engine it would help prospective buyers to decide if they should wait for the 9G.
