AMG-Sport is dead. C450 will now be AMG C43

Just want to mention Mercedes of Greenwich in CT is the WORST dealership I dealt with.
When I was looking around for W205, I paid $$ deposit at their dealership to take one car, but over the weekend, they sold the car to someone else - what's the point of the deposit. Also they played me like a fool when talking about lease payments. We had an agreement with a deal, but payment got hiked maybe thousands more (in total lease payment) after they submitted my lease application. They said im in tier 3. I asked to get the report because I didn't trust them, they said no reports would be provided to a customer ever.
Went to another dealership, leased my current W205, tier 1 lease rate.
Took weeks to reach their sales team to get my deposit back - they cut my phone calls off, reject my emails.

I tried to buy a car there, they would hardly discount and were taking too long to get back to me so I got a great deal at MB of White Plains. On the other hand my dad got his E350 from there right off the truck and they gave him 10k off for pretty much no reason. Might make sense that his sales person no longer works there now haha

Release date is for late summer/early fall 2016 I believe that's what the MB rep told me at the NYIAS

Hopefully it doesn't hunt the overdrive ratios like a hound dog, as Brian Cooley would say lol. That's down to TCU programming and drive mode obviously, but I found it annoying with the 7G-Tronic in the facelift W212 E550.

True, a relatively great performer it is, with quite bit of AMG-worked enhancements & upgrades from a C400 4matic at a bargain price (think Porsche GTS models) .........but a legit AMG car it is not.
In my experience, it so lacks the "this is way too damn much", "insane car", "what the @*&% were they thinking!?", and/or "car, please don't kill me" factor. I never feel in any danger in the C450; actually quite safe. No thoughts whatsoever of dying in a ditch on a wet day.
Unlike with the C63, where for 5 years I thought "funeral in 2 weeks?" every time it rained. But at least my will is up to date.That said, maybe one day those little-bitty side badge things get replaced by a 'Powered by RennTECH' badge.....or possibly supplemented if I'm in a good mood. Hell, being black on black, can hardly see them on mine (thankfully).
I mean who knew almighty AMG would one day be making us look like a bunch of stinkin' poseurs? Pisses me off.
(I know, I know. It's about making money.)
