Yeah I agree. I think the designo makes it look more sporty and obviously luxurious. If its good enough for the s-coupe its good enough for the c-coupe/sedan! It's definitely unique.

Pic taken from another member, but I think it looks awesome, and I am also interested in the silver CF and this pic shows it off well in combo with sb.

No doubt, I had it on my C450 but I'm 75/25 to leave it on the Coupe. On the early May Coupe guide I saw it wasn't an option on the Coupe, only the Sedan. Also on the Euro sites, last I had checked, it wasn't listed. If it ends up as an option I'll have to analyze the cost/benefit, otherwise I'm happy with the boring Saddle Brown.

Also, no Performance Seats for me. Personally I don't like the look and when I sat in them at the dealership I hated them.

Oh and one other thing, if I were to end up going Designo, I'd go with the Silver CF as well. Looks great. Otherwise, I'll go with the dark grey CF.

Yeah I love those seats. If they were a 300 option I'd have them.

In the order guide and online builders (Euro sites) you can see that the Sedan's and Coupe's have different driver and passenger seats (and obviously rear seats); I wonder if this is what it driving the difference in options of leathers?

If they make this seat an option on the C43, and make it for the non-Performance seats, I'd be changing back to Designo for certain.

Yeah, a mistake on seats can be a nightmare. Hard to enjoy the car when the seats feel like torture devices.

My process, because I've been burned before, is to ask to sit in the prospective seat for 30 minutes. You should feel diffuse, even pressure where your body makes contact, once you've done your adjustments. Your hip and knee joints should feel normal.

Adjust out any areas where you feel focused pressure. If you can't adjust them out, those areas that feel like a 2 out of 10 for 30 minutes will be 7+ on long trips, and even repeated short trips might cause discomfort.

I was lucky on the 205 in that I had two weeks in a loaner to sort it out. For me, I prefer my C300 seats to those in my previous S550, despite the S seats having premium leather, multi contour, (adjustable lumbar, shoulder, upper side bolsters, lower side bolsters), massage, and active side bolsters. I just fit better in the C.

No doubt, it's even cracking on the up shifts. Not to mention that the video is from a distance, up close it probably sounds pretty damn brutal.

Excited to see more videos of the C43. This make my knowing my C450 is currently sitting on the lot to be sold a bit easier to stomach.

The C450 always burps and cracks on the upshifts with the current stock exhaust. I have to agree that it does sound the same as the current exhausts....especially at WOT (wide-openthrottle) and during downshift and upshifts. The only difference that I can( barely) make out is that it sounds more aggressive when it is at cruising speeds but then again its the Nurburgring and the "cruising speed" we see could actually be at WOT as well

if this is a video with the optional performance exhaust then I am glad to hear because now any aftermarket exhaust will be more aggressive than even the most aggressive option that MB has to offer

The upshift cracks seemed more pronounced to me, but as you said, this isn't a video that is easy to really compare to other C450 videos (especially the ones with a mic mounted directly beside the exhaust). I also had limited driving experience in the C450 so I'm by no means an expert. Will be interesting to see how it pans out.

With the Performance exhaust being a true dual exhaust, I'd guess it would improve the sound a bit, but I agree that aftermarket options (good ones, at least) will be > AMG OEM options.

Being in the car and being outside of it are also very different.

The video shows WOT nearly the whole time - and the car sounds similar to what I know of the 450.

being a true exhaust will undoubtedly change the the noise it makes, whether it is significant or not is another story.

Any comments on whether heated and ventilated front seats are worth the extra $$$ on a prospective C43? It's a pricey item. I have no experience with MB - so looking for insight on the subject.

Its subjective. And its also a luxury. Being that we are driving luxury vehicles why cheapen our experience? I personally love a warm bum during the harsh winter months, I just wish MB did not have a shortage of ventilated cooled seats when the C450 was in production. That is one feature I miss terribly

Can you get ventilated seats on the C43 now? They were NA on the C450. They're nice to have, but since you get free remote start via phone app now on the 205, you can preheat or cool the cabin. Kind of negates the need for h/c seats.

If you garage the car, I recommend the Chamberlin wifi garage door opener and smartphone app. Works with any brand opener, and let's you open the garage to ventilate before remote starting.
