Aluminium window trim and interior linden wood trim wrap
Hi Guys,
I just joined the forum yesterday and I am looking to do some mode on my 2015 C300 that I got for my wife yesterday - yes, she is super excited😊
I wanted to start with wrapping or coloring the aluminium window trim and wrapping the interior linden wood trim. I searched the forums to see if any existing threads are posted about both/either of these topics but had no luck. Again, it could be as I am still learning how to navigate this forum so please excuse me if there are threads on these topics and I couldn't find them. It would be great if someone could point me to a DIY (I have done quite a few cosmetic mods on my BMW E90 LCI so am pretty handy that way) or give me ideas/suggestions and if possible, even a step by step how to for both jobs.
Thanks in advance for your advise/suggestions/tips people!
Cheers

Actually, one member not only wrapped his piano black trim with carbon fiber wrap, but he wrote an extremely complete how to with pictures and directions. It's here, I just can't remember the thread title. Check as far back as September/October........

I've wrapped my trim flat black and after 3 to 4 months it's starting to show its wrapped. I've gotten a couple quotes on having it painted (gloss black this time) and the prices stated at $150 to 225. I wrapped it myself using Avery.

with quality wrap material, you can't tell, specially use glossy with good weight, and blow dry it so it sticks well - that is a tricky part but necessary for longevity.

Got it. Do you know how much would be needed for both side window trims? Also where can I buy it from and what brand?

I have been considering a wrap for my Piano black center dash trim. I would rather it be done professionally. Since we have some Bay Area guys posting on this thread, any recommendations for someone good in the Bay area? Also, any idea on cost? Thanks.
