I've read and viewed a few videos on youtube where a few folks mentioned the C450 was known to have "cheaper" interior parts which make quite a bit of noise. Has this been corrected in the C43? Does anyone know?

Really? I come from Infiniti and BMW. The C450 materials are no where near cheap. The materials used make my previous cars seem like they were from a class below.

No difference in interior materials. The C300 Sport, C450 and C43 get the same stuff. But the C43/450 has the option of two additional Nappa leathers that the 300 don't have. I wouldn't classify the 205 interiors as cheap, but the cars are prone to interior creaks and rattles.

I've owned a well equipped 2015 C300 Sport 4Matic, and my current C450 interior is of the same exact quality.
My wife's old 2014 BMW 328i xDrive sedan and current 2017 Jaguar XE 35t pale in comparison to my C450 when it comes to the interior, plus they both have more wind noise to at highway speeds.

The interior is far from cheap. I think it's top of class right now. I would rate interior of this class from 1st to last: MB > Lexus > Audi > Infiniti > Caddy > BMW > Acura.

Personally, this transmission jerk issue seems to happen in isolated cases of spirited driving. I've clocked 200+ hours and had it happen 3 times - always in Sport+ after a very abrupt unexpected slowdown followed by heavy acceleration. To some people even one occurrence is enough to deter them from buying a car, to others it isn't - so it's really subjective if this is a deal breaker or not. Would I have made a different purchase decision had I known of this? Nope.
