C43 S E D A N what transmission???
Perhaps the lack of a C43 sedan announcement is because they are trying to get the 9g-tronic & 31:69 into it first up?
I might even consider an E43 sedan, although I do prefer the smaller size of the C class.
When I'm in the market for a new car again, it will be either the 2018 C43 sedan 9g-tronic / 31:69 4MATIC...or the redesigned 2018 BMW 340i M Sport xDrive.

Not a problem for me, I bought my 2015 C300.
I even bought 2 years of pre-paid maintenance, and a Winter set of wheels/tires (that I can use on a future C43), so hopefully I'll only be paying for gas & insurance until the 2018 model year comes out.
Its like saying. I have a iphone 5s and going to wait iphone 8.
My wife does not care if its 400/450 or 43. She drives it to work and picks up our boys. She could care less she is making more boost than stock c450/43. Just a freaking car and its entry level sport luxury sedan at that.
Enjoy your rides. We are fortunate we can afford them.. Dont judge others that can afford higher end cars.. Or second guess purchases of existing models. There will always be better and newer cars.
Next year im jumping out of the C class. I love the little car but man has this forum have haters.

Why stop posting? So you feel better? So you're not bothered? What forum has perfect responses? Get over it and keep posting and ignore opinions and posts that offend you -- it's quite easy to do so
A little sensitive here, huh? And no this is not the same scenario...I bought a 2015 C300 instead of the C400 because it was the better handler (and less expensive too)...then as luck would have it I wasn't in the market to trade up so soon when the C450 came out...which has the outdated & slow shifting 7G transmission that I've experience first hand in my C300. Why buy a model with the same outdated transmission knowing full well the 9G will be on the next year model?
Sounds like your wife should be driving a Honda or Toyota then.
Easy there fella, no one is judging here...only giving opinions. Don't be so thin skinned.
Think you missed my point. What I meant was if you bought a 2015 C300 and is happy to wait out for the 2018 C43/340i, why not just lease a C450 (enjoy it for 2-yrs+) then get the new 2018 models with the upgraded components. At least you will have way more fun for the time being.

I don't think I did...my thinking is why lease a car with the outdated & slow shifting 7G transmission I currently have, especially since Mercedes has "upgraded" the C400 to the C450 in only a year. If anything it makes me want to wait for the dust to settle before buying this type of car.
Nope, I can wait until the 2018 C43 sedan comes out next year with the 31:69 biased 9G transmission.
Yes...for two reasons.
1) I pre-paid for 2 years of regular maintenance (A & B service), plus I have three total years of wheel/tire insurance.
2) I want to see what the redesigned 2018 BMW 340i is like.
