I've been wanting to do a photoshoot of my C300 since I got it last Aug and with the weather warming up now is probably a good time. Anybody know of good places in NJ/NY or general areas to go to other than the top of a parking deck?
Riis Park in Rockaway Beach NY is a pretty cool spot. Beach backdrop and the art deco bathhouse. A few miles in either direction and you have Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn or the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. Both have tall weeds, the water as a backdrop, and expansive flat parking lots. Look on Google Maps for street views of these locations.

Doubt it. It's run by the NY Parks Dept. I was actually cited by one of them for doing donuts in the Riis Park parking lot... I used to drive a Camaro.

Nah I don't want to drag race in the 100's, maybe a quick run to 65mph on a secluded road, to test my future car's acceleration against friend's cars.. In Europe don't they have the abandoned air fields that they can race on (on youtube videos all the time).. why don't they have that here? With no police..
Any body familiar with the West New York part of NJ? I've heard good things but have never been there.
Yes, not a bad place for photoshoots. There are a ton of spots near WNY and Guttenberg, but there's wayyyy too much traffic. I'd say if you want the skyline view but not all the traffic, try Edgewater or Fort Lee.
