I decided to give peelable paint a try! Based on autoflex coatings had the entire car done. I call it "the satin silver surfer". Accents in gloss black.
Both finishes come with a top clear coat it feels just like paint and comes off like vinyl wrap. so far im impressed with how it came out!

I totally agree - that looks amazing! Blows me away how far the vinyl wrap technology has come. Eventually we'll probably see a complete replacement for painting a car from the factory if they keep this up. Would certainly be easier to recover a door or fender following minor accidents than to have to repaint half the car.
Sorry for late replies but here it goes, an average car can cost similar to vinyl from $3k to $4k depending on the car, etc. It applies just like paint and is done in a professional spray booth. Because it has a clear coat it can be waxed and buffed just like paint so it has really great durability and feels just like real paint, especially the high gloss.
