consumption is much difference with 18 ?
and consumption with 19 "?

No difference. The overall wheel diameter (tire+rim) stays the same. You're just swapping rim diameter for sidewall height.

19s will ride a little harsher than 18s and quite a bit harsher than 17s. Keep that in mind if a soft ride is important to you.

That's true, although I have to say honestly that in all of my wheel decisions, fuel economy is never on the table. I guess rather than rim diameter, look for tires with low rolling resistance like the Michelin Primacy or whatever they put on the Prius or Leaf.

I believe not correct, the 19's are wider and have a higher rolling resistance, (albeit slight.. ) there is a small loss in fuel efficiency.. (0.2 - 0.3l / 100kms)...


all other commetns re ride feel are absolutely valid though...

In other words, carrying a passenger or driving into a head wind has a bigger impact.

Nonsense. I learned everything I know about the British from watching Benny Hill and there are a lot of fat people in England. Especially the ladies, many of whom also look a lot like Benny Hill.

Will burn through the tires that come with it first, then I immediately switch to non run flats Michelin PSS. For my winter tires I'll also be going with non run flats, not certain exactly which tires though - maybe Blizzaks?
