Ok thanks to the VIN reader and the poster above (thumb up) it looks like I'm running the NTG5*2 as I have the centre console wheel as well as the little finger mouse touch pad thing on it in my 2016 C300

What size screen do you have now? If you`re happy with the screen you have you, could try & find out if car play/ Android auto is available in your car.
What size of android screen do you prefer? I like the look of the 10.25" screen in CLA but the 9" may look better in C class.
To get the screen go back through the treads & see where other people got their screens from.... lots of different suppliers
The 9" probably would look best. 10.25 looks a little wide but I'll take a look again.
Will definitely do that. I would love to have Waze and Spotify options on the dash and not on a phone mount somewhere.

Android 8.1 10.25" screen 8 core 4gb ram 64gb rom for CLA but they also have a C class mount ... Got it on Alibaba, I could get you the contact if you'd like but after I install, just so I know it all works fine.

The 9.3 from AliExpress has had many problems with poor quality and stuff not working
There is an 8.4 on Carlife but nobody mentions if it works for the C300 W205 with COMAND
Most folks seem to be going for the 10.25 from Carlife as it seems to be fully functional, doesn't give errors or crash and allows android auto (Waze etc) nicely now that wide screen is supported.
Wonder if there is an audio shop in the GTA that works on Benz.

Damn! Thanks for posting this though. I might forward this to the MB salesman that sold me the car and ask him whether there is anything newer in 2017 or 2018 that allow this. I've reached out to a local audio store that installs custom systems to see what they recommend for my vehicle as well.

Quick question can anyone please take a look at their AC temperature display and the outside temperature display on the unit and tell me if it accurate with what your car displays? The temperatures my car display VS what’s on the android screen are off, see the picture. Anyone having this issue? An it’s the same issue with the outside temp too

Planning to fit this later today, but for those who have it does it allow video in motion when using it?
i currently have a harness adapter attached to allow this ( yes I know the dangers but it’s for child who watches stuff on there the peace and quiet is worth it alone!) once I fit the new screen and all wiring I assume I will need to remove the harness I have fitted for the new screen etc but will I loose all Video in motion or will it be available via the screens software itself ..

Fitted screen today... few probs so far I have to start... 1.no sound from screen , I have aux usb cable fitted and plugged into the usb slot inside my armrest,is there something I need to to do set this up? I have sound from car tho .. 2.carplay is giving me this screen?? What does that mean??stuck on that screen .. Prob more things but there what I found so far.. Can anyone help plz
edit; sorted audio via usb aux in media sources... had to set sound to aux via the oem settings...
still no joy joy with the car play dongle.
just a thought but the two usb cables that come with this screen , I have the one with usb written on it for the dongle, the other usb cable doesn’t have this written on it but it does have an arrow ....what’s the difference if any?

I just went into the oem system screen and went to choice device source, thing that thru me originally is if you go via the setting where u see a pic of each device the aux doesn’t show but if you look at the bottom of screen there’s another way click on device and it then shows them all listed aux was there... hope thst makes sense can always take a pic to show ..
Did you bought the usb dongle on their website ? it is not included with the screen.
when I purchased via road top (who I gave a hard time too initially I might add for not sending as advertised with DHL ...they refunded me $50 and it’s obviously arrived now so they came good) anyway.... I asked for the usb aux to be sent with my screen and they did along with the BT standard one so that was great.
Don't know, for me they work the same way.
carplay working now road top sent me a file to update the app and they sorted it... no idea what was wrong.
Im getting an issue connecting for screen mirroring,I get to final stage on my home screen on iPhone to connect to to carvscreen and says unable to connect when I try ...not sure what’s wrong...
also anybody able able to help I tried to install Netflix app and says my device isn’t compatible with this version ?? Who has netflix loaded?
Hitting few problems as I try stuff out but seem to be sorting them aswell....
by the way I have no delay in audio and video using the usb aux cable .
