Dummy passenger head restraint switch.

Hey Guys
I have a 2016 C300.
I'm noticing that the passenger side head restraint switch is a dummy.
Everytime I get a new person sitting in the passenger they always tried to move the switch.
I don't mind having a dummy but would it break easily if someone keep tried to push or operate it?

Perhaps package specific? My almost fully loaded C200 in the UK has fully working electric seats on both sides.

what is your spec?

Us spec I believe you need the leather seating package to get it. I haven't seen any posts or heard any complaints about issues of it becoming loose or breaking off. so pretty sure it's on nice and sturdy. Unfortunately or fortunately time will tell.

My car has the leather package, and the headrest switch is fully functional for both front seats.

I know what you are talking about ! People try that in my car too. So far, it has not fallen off. It looks sturdy. Cheers !

Pretty sturdy, I have AMG seats and you can't tilt the headrest for obvious reasons.
