What temp does your W205 sit at after warming up?

I have a C205 (coupe) and it seems to sit a little above the halfway mark (see attached picture after fully warming up. Is this normal or should I take my car to the dealer? Outside temps are about 40-50 degree and my car has always been this way since I bought it brand new. What temps do your guys' cars run at?

Yup, that's normal.

That thing is a dummy light anyway. Don't rely on it to accurately give you the temperature.

Sick, just wanted to ask around so I know I don't have a lemon of a cooling system. Filling up 8/12 marks on the gauge def raises some eyebrows to me.

I was thinking the same way you did when I looked down at my temp gauge when I first got my car. I thought it was extremely high but after talking to the dealership, they said it was normal.

Yeah, I'm used to having the needle being right in the middle of the gauge on my old cars, so this caught my attention. Especially given how it's only 3 points away from the red zone.

C Class 200 sport petrol auto
My old Ford had a service menu that could be switched on via a weird combination of button pressing that garages could use for getting a temperature read out. Wonder if this car has the same somewhere.
